Depends on who killed you.

You don't have to. Some mods like it though to hear all the discussion, including those done in mafia/mason groups.

They die. It symbolizes them exploding from the effort of the space-time rift they attempted to create.

A Night 0 seems to be pretty common on this forum, right? I poked my nose into a few games and saw that there weren't any posts before the N0's that happened, so how do they work?

Welcome. They are basically a way to introduce the game and theme through a writeup, even though nothing has happened yet. No real actions take place, the mod just does whatever they want.

Oh I see, ending with the GM dead. No wonder I was so confused. I've been itching to play a mafia game with an actual night phase for a while now and seeing how other groups play is always fun, thanks for the quick answer.

Welcome to the crew, man. I'm not super familiar with how mafia runs on other sites, but I'm told it's quite different than we do it around here. Give one of our games a shot here and see if you like it. You might be pleasantly surprised.

As for N0, Robo is pretty close to hitting the nail on the head. As a mod, I use N0 to establish the theme and characters. That way the town knows who they're up against and the mafia can start coming up with fake roleclaims. I also use it to establish the writing style of the game. That and N0 will give me the perfect opportunity to set my avatar to match my deadth.

Is this were we can post ideas we have for role powers? I got a decent idea (I think) and would love to discuss it.
