Everything there is to say about the dial has been said, but I'd like to point out that this is a note-perfect stand-in for Red Son Superman, right down to the TA.
4th best dial in the game. Awesome offensive Superman.
currently playing:
Dragon Quest VIII
Heroclix
Go
currently listening:
The Shins- Chutes to Narrow
Yo La Tengo- And then nothing turned itself inside out.
The Faint- Wet from birth
Great for the points. Golden Age feats of Repulsor Shield,Shellhead, and Fortitude make his cost 298, and I would be happy with that for what he brings to the game in offensive power. Highly wanted!
@GL_Alex. Isn't the rule for feats that they are only allowed to be 10% of your build total? I hope so because I would hate to play that cheesey idea of yours : ).
One of the best figures in the game for sheer damage output. He does more clix than any other figure for their point range. I have him and I have in a single turn ko'd countless "heavy hitters" including Cosmic Spiderman. For his point value and what he does, he is perfect. But, due to his low movement, you really need to set him up and hope the first attack lands. You have to love a character that can KO almost any figure with a 10 click dial in one turn. That's what he does and he is good at it.
This is Superman. He never lets me down. Him and Magneto are the best. This for me, is the best Heroclix in DC, and Magneto is the best in Marvel. Just perfect. I love this Superman. He brings fear.
Gave him all 5s because this figures is awesome and I wish I had him. However, that being said, played against him in a 400 point team recently and my cap nick fury and a few shield agents interrogated supes and made him sing like a canary! chirp chirp supes!
Everything he fights dies. He hit the new "do it yourself galactus" for 14 clicks in one turn plus an action token, and pushed himself for a double ko w ol' galactard. he smoked master mold. Sentinel armies, no prob. The only problem in fielding him is finding worthy teammates. so far all I can come up with is rip hunter and 150 point FF Superman for a "Thy Kingdom Come" team. Dont ever be afraid to push him if you have rerollers. One click of push damage is a small price to pay to dish out 10 clicks of damage to a colossal if you're already in close quarters combat.
SM 150 point Superman could wreck this guy in two attacks. First attack outwit defense and hit him with a lamppost for 6 damage straight through PLUS an action token. Next turn with Indomitable, outwit for four more and KC Superman is KO'd...save your wallet the money and your team the extra 88 points and just play the SM 150 point Superman instead.
@GL_Alex; Not only is your post a complete JOKE, it's not even well presented with any sort of anecdotal "evidence" or any sort of credibility. Not only do Common Superman need a 7 to hit, he needs to roll KC AND be within 9 squares for the heavy. Furthermore, did your moronic amateur opponent run up KC supe and just SIT THERE to be outwitted and shot? No. Common Superman may be a decent piece, but this guy puts a target on ANY piece on the map and they die. Common Superman is cheaper, which means he can put in support pieces, but the point is 238pt games doesn't happen. So it looks like KC superman is getting support too.
