so has anyone made a 4th ed character yet I find it kinda hard to follow and find where it all is- maybe they really need to get the online character builder going....

I've made a few. It's not too hard, but I could see how it could be confusing if you haven't played any versions of D&D before. PM me with any questions your having, or if you're completely lost PM that to me and I'll answer your questions/walk you through it.

no I have been reading the DM guide since no one else volunteered to DM , trying to get something for 4th ed 1st lvl ready, but I have a test this weekend so it has not been priority #1

Yeah, I think the desire to see this moving is definitely there; the biggest hurdle though seems to be selecting a technical platform. It's the same problem facing my old D&D group.

I downloaded the table from sourceforge. I haven't connected with anyone but it's a little more stream-lined than open rpg. I could definitely DM a 3.5 campaign. I'm just trying to juggle some D&D stuff here at home. But I can do 3.5. 4E not so much.

There's a LOT of stuff on sourceforge. Mind being more specific?

I'd like to try this at home and see what it's like.
