And all I'm saying is that you're most definitely not a townie. I trust my gut. It's not 100% accurate, but it's been dead on when my own info has been wrong. I'm willing to follow it for a first day lynch. If for no other reason than to ensure that person will be checked out. They'll never slide under the radar again.

1. This is the ill-fated "Either or" argument that I have a typical problem with. Usually because it typically comes from the mouth of the SK, or mafioso. I've CAUGHT people, with no information at all, with this very problem. A townie CARES what happens.

2. You say that there's good news no matter what the result of MSU's autopsy is, but you won't vote for him. This indicates, given your argument, that you know what the result of his autopsy is going to be. Given we haven't had a night phase yet.....

And this is where you make a big mistake. You imply that everyone in your group is townie, and therefore will have to focus on the other group. Which means that you think a majority of the people voting "no lynch", are townie.

Considering you can't maintain that ANYONE in this game is a townie right now, this means that you either:

1. Don't care who they target, just want to make sure you know who to worry about.

2. Have a bunch of friends in the "No Lynch" category.

My question is: Why the separation?

Mafia and SK players thrive on making the town spin in circles over a list of suspicious people, that are all town.

I lynch people so that I know who defended a bad guy, and who thought they should be lynched. I lynch people because it FORCES discussion. And the more people discuss, the more I get a chance to get a gut feeling about someone, or catch them in a mistake. That's why I jump from person to person.

If someone's lynching to work off a list, they're handing a script to the Mafia, telling them exactly what they're going to do next. It's bad strategy, at best.

I've read enough here to think that maybe it is worth an "un-informed" lynch on Day 1 to get more info sooner in the game. Since there is only one viable candidate for that right now...
