The blonde man had been having a rotten week. First his singer girlfriend had run out on him, then he'd almost been blown up in his hideout. He sat glumly in a dimly lit, dirty little motel room on the edge of town. He'd scraped together some dough, but hadn't been sure it was enough. He tucked a gun into his pants and walked down to take whatever was in the clerk's till. He grimaced as he saw the hoods downstairs.

"You bin up ta no good pally" called their leader.

"I' incn o i. Ta Tay flo i te git pry."

"Yeah, should try it without the marbles next life pally. I ain't buyin' what yer sellin'."

The blonde man made to flee out the back exit, but only made it 4 steps before the mobster's clubbed him in the back of the head. The beating they doled out didn't kill him, his luck still held true on that. Alas he would be of no use to anyone for a long time to come yet.

Lofcutus has been beaten into a coma and is out of the game. He was Mumbles, a crook no one could understand. Yet was always hard to kill. (Criminal)

COPS NAB ARSONIST

At approximately 10:30am this morning police responded to a call from the Sunshine Motel. The clerk alerted the police to a disturbance in room 419. Apparently a bearded man and his hoodlums had shown up to harass a man who had just taken up residence there. The man protested saying he needed to see someone, but the man and his gang began to abuse the old man. It was at this point the receptionist called police.

The police arrived just as the leader of the gang set fire to the room. The arsonist attempted to make his escape but was brought down by a flying body tackle from the lead detective, his yellow fedora getting lost in the scuffle.

The man was none other then Boris Arson, the man guilty of robbing the First National Bank. The inhabitant of room 419 was taken to County General for smoke inhalation; police have declined to reveal his name.

Another resident of the hotel saw the scuffle, and returned the lead detective’s hat afterwards. When questioned by this reporter he declined to comment. His odd facial markings indicating that pursuing it further might not be the best idea.
