Uhm, Fel you might want to take a really close look at that "sentence" and your memories and see what stands out to you as being a "Doh!" moment.

Well Iceman, your power claim, if true, is unique, but I don't know if I believe it. While Vision does list the dead on page 1, he does list them as Dead (at least for now), I don't necessarily see what use your power would be. You say you can perform a ritual to keep people from being allowed to come back as vampires, which to me sounds like they are killed and then bought back as a vampire. Well, if they are dead, and they come back, we will be very suspicious of them anyway, and probably think they are mafia. Your claim almost sounds like just a weird enough claim it is likely not in the game. Is anyone else suspicious of his claim?

Also, I doubt because you gave your power claim you are now at the top of the mafia hit list. They are much more concerned about doctor/cop powers at this point of the game.

Also, if the game starts out in the day phase, there is absolutely no evidence anyone can present because the powers haven't started yet! There is only pressure/accusations/jumping on things people say in an effort to get info revealed. I am leaving my vote on you for now.

Also, Iceman, you vote to stake feluwelt, and then pretty quickly switched to a no stake vote and you "just want to get this day over with" Why the quick change of heart? There is plenty of time left in the phase?

Also, the fact that his alignment includes the word Dead makes me suspicious, because mine certainly doesn't.

Hey guys, checking in. Can someone give me a quick recap as to why Ice is the main vote-getter right now? Glancing thru the thread, he seemed to have claimed a fairly important townie role.

I had a long post about this before I left work, but the realms had a seisure and ate it. I didn't feel like retyping. Anyway, I'm not caught up yet, but if you claim a power, you make a huge target of yourself. THe mafia, knowing you're not one of them, can prioritize you while the town thinks you're suspicious because you didn't just give a character. Maybe because you didn't want anyone to know your character and didn't know who to claim. Also, if you claim to be able to stave off recruitments, it usually means you're the recruiter. Kinda like that crazy Wereworf outbreak they had on that one crazy planet with the pooing bird. This is more of a hudgepodge of my earlier ideas, but I think I hit all the points.

Stepping outside the game for a second, you do get used to it. Your first 10 games or so, especially when you're mafia or neutral, are impossibly stressful. Then it get easier over time.

I, from what I can tell, am necessary to keep the Vampire ranks from growing. If a person is lynched or night-killed I am guessing they can come back at night. I don't know. That's just my power.

And that's all you get.

I love ultimatums were the accused gives everything but their actual character. Especially in a game with limitless roles.

And by love I mean despise.

I voted to Stake him because he staked me in real life with his Scott Porter staking.

I also voted for him because his "Don't Target Me" statement came twice.

I also know he almost got Lynched in The GL WAR because he claimed to be a Teal Lantern and everyone took his joke to mean he was Blue. Which he was not.

You can never tell with Fel. He is out there. Still, I'm not lynching a PGO during a day phase. As a townie, if he is a PGO, let the Mafia deal with him. At worst he is taken out instead of one of us. Mafia might even have to spend 2 Actions to take him out (RB/Kill). At best he might even take one down.

And yeah, after all this unfounded poking and prodding simply because I was the first to vote No Lynch, I would like to get the day phase over.

I'm likely to be janitored tonight, then the Mafia will have a heck of a RC to play with. That's the only reason I'm playing the take a look at me card.
