Quake requires a close combat action. BCF activates from a close combat action. They both replace the damage value. In cases where two results replace the damage value at the same time, I believe that the player gets to choose which happens in which order (such as when using Charge and the special object that adds to your movement).
*If* that's the case, then that could be quite nasty. TK someone out to a crowd of opponents, and BCF-Quake them for possibly 6 damage each... plus knockback. But I bet this will be ruled so that Quake's "2 damage" ignores the BCF roll.
But there aren't a lot of good Charging Quakers these days. Absorbing Man? No thanks. Thunderstrike? Maybe. Atlas? Maybe. The Top? Maybe. Black Adam, sure, but he's probably better off with just the 5 damage. E-Origins Steel wouldn't be bad. Beast Boy? Could he finally have a use? Oh, of course, there's Power Girl. And Steel from Legacy. And maybe there are others I can't find because they have special powers that let them do this.
Rampaging Hulk could maybe combo with this idea (and with his own object affecting powers).
Other weird possibilities to take advantage of BCF activating from a close combat action:
BCF + Incapactiate. Could BCF replace the 0 damage of Incapacitate so you could do d6 damage plus a token? Doesn't seem too unbalanced.
I also like the BCF + superstrength idea. I might try that with Fenris Wolf. Or Gamora. Or Cheetah.
Quake caps the damage value. I would rule that if your character had quake with a printed value of 1, then you could use BCF to try to roll 2 or higher to bump it up to 2 damage instead of 1, but any higher than 2 would still be capped at 2.

basically anyone with 5 damage and high range and or running shot so i can give them psy blast!! (pure devastation)
Wierdest combo i can think of?
slap stunning blow on AA Wonder Woman, give her incap via gizmo's power, hhave her carry the meteroite, 5 damage, penetrating, +token. at 6 squares away (charging).
sure its a one shot move to start, but its pretty potent, especially if you finda running shotter to follow up with another token!!

Am I the only one who thinks this guy is a 79pt giveaway? Maybe if his SP wasn't "Once per game..." there would be something there but as it stands he's far too risky a piece for his cost.
That SP could be good although it'll take some positioning to get him near an object to eat to activate it and maximize its effectiveness by getting as many friendly figures next to him as possible but I guess a good GL TA carry people next to him since he can't carry himself thanks to his trait which I'm guessing was because of how broken it'd be to let that wild card TA copy GL then carry to an object. Overall it should be interesting to see but I'm not that sure I'd use it if I pulled it.
One thing I can think of that would work would be AA Zoom with I'LLMAAAAKEYOUBETTTTTERRR. Give him Blades for a Turn, either on a PC click, or on his Exploit click. Zoom raining down 12 potential penetrating damage is just evil.

Remember that only 2 other friendlies get the power (3 total counting Gizmo). Even if he could carry 8 people, he could only give 2 of them a power.

EW is a power action, BCF requires a close combat action. You are game for dealing 12 damage, but not penetrating.
Thank you for Gizmo! I am a wee bit concerned he may be too many points (IIRC, Techno + Thunderbolts = 76 points was just right) but if my math is right I can get a Fearsome 5 team within 10% of 400, which is pretty good all things considered: LE Dr. Light, Shimmer, Mammoth, V Jinx, Gizmo.
You forgot one thing. Wildcards can not use ATA feat cards.

Where are the keywords? It seems like every new figure we've seen (starter or not) has had 1 keyword (non-generic).

Sorry,Gizmo will not be able to be thunderbolt.
I don't think he was ever considering having Gizmo copy T-Bolts, I think he was saying that that piece was a good representation of Gizmo that he has used before.
