I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed with the latest issue recycling a plot point from Annihilation in almost the same way. I'm sure they'll do something different with it this time, but still, it bugged me.
Do you guys think that Heroclix works fast enough or is reactive enough to put figures in the next Marvel set that reflect the Thanos Imperative? There seems to be a lot of great options thus far.
I can see it for one simple reason. We are mostly dealing with already established characters here
If they want to say remake
Thanos, Gladiator, Nova or Quasar they have been in lots of stuff lately to justify even w/o TI
And same with new characters like Jack Flagg
The only one sthat have a time crucnh issue are the Cancerverse people and really outside of Lord Mar-Vell I dont think many are that important

Why does robedestroyer have mickey mouse ears as an avatar? Big supporter?
Hopefully this winds up as a big reboot. Not until I see a Zombie Vampire Ninja Sorcerer Supreme Pizza WereWolf Robot Viking Wolverine (which of those hasnt he been?) accidentally wind up making woopie with Scarlet Witch and she moans "Copy Valiant Universe Continuity at it's high point" right as everything gets restart. Marvel secretly getting a big reboot would be awesome. All Marvel comics carrying cross contintuity would be more awesome, more than half the comics would get canceled, but it would be awesome.
I would buy all of them.
All 15 titles. Maybe 11.
Imagine. Constant Unity. Definite mental orgasm.
Question: Wasn't Nova and GotG actually selling well? I seem to remember it having been said that Realm of Kings (didn't it introduce the Cthulhuverse?) didn't sell well. I can't imagine disrespecting (Thanos Imp) and the possiblitilies of the events of the titles having major future impact if a big player of the tittle (Nova) has already been said to be "zipping back and forth" or some such nonsense.
Does anyone agree with me that Nova would not leave a possible universe ending situation to zip over and help Captain America? Honestly, they probably do have meetings where they look at the universe as a whole "in general" many months ahead. They prolly have one for characters, too.
My prediction, nothing really will happen in this book and the end book is actually setting up a bigger cross event in the "Heroic Age" that will see a lot of the books canceled in a legitimate looking way. They just launched how many books for the "Heroic Age"? The end of the Thanos Imp prolly is being determined by the sales figures of all those fresh tittles.
Think about it, if they kill some characters off that aren't seen but in a few books (read as cosmic anyone but Nova, I have a feeling he's very safe and the only cosmic guaranteed in multiple books monthly) instead of seen in a possible wide variety of books or make major changes to something that effects a small amount of books, eh.
I think I may have misspelled tittles. Was thinking of turtles.

I dunno, I think it'd be fun to have Cthulu versions of Thor, IM, Cap, Wanda (with a late dial Vision emergence), Warbird, and Hulk.
"Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad,
He's so bad, he mak'a me mad
Un-fun Dad, un-fun Dad
He's a real cad, Un-fun Dad"
I just wish the Fates would smile upon us and somehow allow Rom (link for the uninitiated) to play a prominent role in this series.
A little Galadorian Neutralizing would take care of those pesky Undying Ones.

Wont deny they might be fun but essential not really they are mostly one story grunts much like all the Evil Doppleganger from Infinity War. Would I love to have Cap with Razor Shield and the other whacked out ones from that series to go along with Doppy and Magus...sure but necessary not really
At best they are chases for a future set

Well I realy like it and they finaly used the Lovecraft quote "Even death may die." " That which can eternal lie, After strange eons even death may die." This refers to the big C himself. I REALY wanted the abstracts to face the great tentacled one and was kinda bummed the thing coming through the rift was the Galactus Engine. So far we have Cthonians, Leng and some curse words from the Necronomicon. Does anyone else hope this tome is some how used?

ROM rock on. I kinda get teary eyed at the idea of seeing ROM make a huge come back in the Marvel Universe.
I was waiting for the Micronauts to possibly make a huge comeback with Bug running around. But sadly no. Yeah I know Arcturus and Marionette have made a recent appearance but it just wasn't the same. It just wasn't my Micronauts of yester year.
Oh yeah as far the Thanos Imperative, I have been enjoying it big time. I have always been a huge fan of the Cosmic side of the Marvel Universe and the past couple of years has been great with all of the stuff Dan Abnett has been writing. He truly brought the Cosmic Marvel Universe back to life. But I am sooo bummed to see all of it being shut down and being on hiatus or little mini series and what not.
Above all else I want a monthly GotG book again. If there should be a cosmic title to remain on the shelf and monthly it should be this. I think this book would work well with what DC is doing with some of there books where you have a main story with a short back up story in the back of the book. I would gladly pay 3.99 a month for a GotG book.
And still I am waiting for a new Desaad figure.....where is the Desaad love?
