This map is 100% comic accurate, I like everything about it and I think WK did a great job portraying the map. That said I just don't think it should be allowed in tournament games, it's too gamebreaking. I find it ludicrous that a player has to plan ahead for a map instead of his opponents figures.

I actually find that to be pretty cool. Maps have always had game-deciding impacts, if you can just see what they are. Batman teams have long known this. Try playing unprepared for the Prison, or the Space map, or the Great Arena. Krakoa simply draws your attention to its impact with a dice roll.
Shockingly, Deathlok23, while being completely wrong, has elements to his answer that are closer than anything yet.
I gotta wonder with some of these answers, do folks even check first? There's no Rogue LE!
Skocking is what I do best! ; ) If I was on a computer, I could check . Unfortunately my old ### phone & the Units Section are not friends. Going from memory here. OK, one more guess, they all have been reprinted in a later set?

True, but keep in mind, those maps don't beat you up. They add another dynamic of the field yes, but they don't get up and punch Xavier out of his wheelchair.

In many cases, I'd rather take a risk at damage to a character than spend the whole game with my range halved (space), or my speed hindered (Hellboy Temple), or my Stealthed figures unable to hide (Rooftops).
It's certainly an aggressive map, and one that can make a big impact on a game; but it's hardly the first map to do so.
