One! Something I'd like to do, is have people bring up scenarios/builds etc that they would like to play. Whoever wins this thing gets to pick the next format(*cough DarkCorsair*cough*), and that's pretty much anything goes. I'm going to reserve veto power if any winner tries to do a 20,000pt game, or a 1pt Lian Harper baby brawl, but I don't really see that happening
Secondly, I would like to also award the winner a custom figure, that will be included in a faux "HCSL" set. Figure selection would be almost anything you wanted. Ninja Turtles, a 'decent' Spider-Man, an updated Invincible or a Kim Kardashian (*shudders*). There'll be a discussion with rules experts, and some review, and a bit of an approval process so that we don't see a HelloKitty with HSS, Super Strength and Imperv, or bad rules language etc, and we won't let it be game breaking.
Runner-up (i.e. the opposition in the deciding match), will be able to design a BFC/Feat/ATA/Object for the set as well, following the same concepts.
The idea here is to experiment, have fun, and play some games, damnit, so we're going to have some fun with it.

Some Format Ideas (besides the #00 + Modern/Golden):
Gang War
You get one named figure, and the rest have to be generics (with theme in mind). ~High point game, and hordes upon hordes of Skrulls vs SHIELD Agents, Asgardians vs Checkmate and Humanoids vs Intergang.
Multiplayer (i.e. 3-4)
X vs Y
Pick a non-generic Keyword. Your figure pool is limited to pieces of that Keyword. You can change up your team between the matches, but you're stuck with that Keyword.
Variable
At the beginning of the game, roll a d8 and multiply the result by 100 (probably re-roll a 1). That's the point value of your game, and you must build thusly (works best with a restricted figure pool).
Race of the Rings
Each level you play one of the scenarios from the LoTR starter, so level 1 would be the first scenario, lvl 2 would be the second, etc. First person to complete it all wins.
There are bajillions of options out there

This! So Much this! I would love to have some of my custom clix playable pieces! If we do this I so call dibs on Autobots! This may be sad, I have notebooks of sets ive doodled to keep class and work from being too boring. So would it be only 1 figure per tournament for the winnder and then 1 object ect for the runner up or would we design a set then slowly add pieces to it to fill it out?
I love the idea the winner gets to pick the next tournament format, thats a great idea.
All games at each level are played on the same map. All Level 1 games are played on, say, Supermax. All Level 2 games use Crash Site. All Level 3 games use Bizarro World. Etc.
All games are Lucha Libre Captain's Rules games. If your highest-point-value figure is KOed, you lose.
Weeniemania! All figures under 50 points are 10 points cheaper! All figures over 80 points cost ten points more!

It'd be one figure each time, which will build up eventually.

I love the idea of picking a keyword and having to build off of it. Especially since you can change up your team, but sticking in the same keyword. LOVE IT!
Although, I think we'll see a lot of Avengers and Justice League lol

Well Aranatta and I are done. Lords of War had trouble rolling above a 4, and it was downhill from there.
Now, the question is, do I start another game that I don't even really want to win, because I'd be stuck with those same boosters, or do I just let my game with Superclone ride and see what happens?
Who wants to get a -really- fast game going?

I will take 4 GSX
Hadn't seen anyone go there yet.
I got 3 along with a Mutations and Monsters. Other than being a little light at the heavy hitter spot, I got a great bunch of secondary and support figures.
I went with the M&M on the off chance I got a common Cyclops, there were a lot more cheap X-Men TA figures in MU than there are in GSX.

I'd be up for a really fast game. I should have pretty decent internet access over the next 2 days to get one banged out. (Though I have to leave now for 2 hours to attend a baseball umpiring meeting)
