Shazam lost his token last turn, thanks to Xanadu. She Perplexes Shazam's AV to 11, he takes her and HSS to attack Superman, AV11 on DV17. Gets 4. Again?? And this time he doesn't have the benefit of Xanadu's Fortune Telling. He ends in I10. Xanadu in H10 - she's the one basing Superman.

Superman will hss to row 11, grab the LO, and move to row 9 attacking Shazam. KC roll is 4. Needs 4, rolls 10. That's 5 to Shazam, minus 2 for invulnerable. He ends in row 7.
The battle between Superman and Captain Marvel continues. And despite the advantage of Madame Xanadu on his side, things are not looking well for Marvel. Xanadu pulls out a tarot and shakes her head, "I'm not liking this."
If I'm reading Superman's dial correctly, he's on a Charge click, not a HSS one, so he'd have to break from Xanadu to hit Shazam.

I thought my map links would have shown that, but I guess I never did a map link for this fight map. Looks like I just kept posting the main map over and over. That's the one problem with these "one game multiple map" games. Gets a little confusing.
Argh, you're right. Dunno why I picked Xanadu for the duel. Ok, can I break? 6. Fine, the attack goes as above, minus the LO. He ends adjacent to Shazam but not Mdm Xanadu.
I suppose I should thank you for cleaning house for me at this point. Tough time deciding what to do next. Kyle's being a jerk, but the Barrier makes it tough to get to him and his now 19 DV doesn't make it easy to hit him even if I do. But what's life without a few challenges?
Hourman and Wonder Woman (Artemis) next. A little Justice League love from their old namesake set. Blood Oath on Artemis and Nanobots on Hourman.

Artemis Charges to N15, 12 on DV18. And she rolls a 2. Poor form, Artemis. Poor form.
Hourman on Rocket Red, AV9 on DV16 +1. Gets 7.
Captain Atom on Rocket Red, AV7 on DV16 +1, He gets 7. Well fine. That's one way to deal with Kyle, at least temporarily. Atom pulls him into a duel.
Shazam on Superman, AV9 on DV17. Gets the 8. Impervious is a 5 though. Worst of all possible outcomes. Since it still technically is a hit, Xanadu's Fortune Telling doesn't help.

Captain Atom and Kyle on the Airfield. I roll a 4 for distance, so 2 squares separate them. Captain Atom on Kyle, AV7 on DV18. Gets 8. Ooh, so close.
"It appears you could use some help," Hourman said.
"I'll say," Animal Man agreed. "There's a Green Lantern over there giving us no end of trouble."
"Then perhaps I can give him some trouble," Artemis said, flying to meet Kyle.
"I wish she'd given me a chance to warn her," John lamented.
With a battle cry, Artemis charged at Green Lantern. "I'll say this for you Amazons," Kyle said, countering with a cyclopean giant to block her way, "you give a guy plenty of warni..."
"What magic is this?" Artemis asked, as Kyle and his construct both disappeared.
"Don't worry about it," Hawkman said. "We've got more than enough to keep you busy over here."
Meanwhile, "So I guess it falls to me to bring you down," Captain Atom said, blasting at Kyle.
"Well you got one part right," Kyle said, creating an L-shaped pipe to funnel the blast away from him. "You're that one that's falling."
Red force blasts Animal Man. Rolls 3. He's in N3 and takes 2 for the fall. All he can do is force blast but it's working for him.
I don't like that Phantom Stranger with the takedown feat. But he's also kinda ignorable. Kinda. Wog tks Hawkman to N16.
Hawkman on Artemis. He needs 8 and has two shots at it with flurry. Needs 8, rolls 8. Nice, 2 to her. 2nd attack needs 7, gets 8. 2 more to her after toughness.
