In my humble opinion there isn't a better Nightwing out.

The main Batman set one is decent though defensively a bit fragile to me. With the average dice roll suppose to be 7, most clicks starting with a 10 or higher attack, and statistically you're 2/3 more likely to fail Super Senses then succeed. Most likely he'll get hit by the average fig and take the damage.

Now 17 combat reflexes and stealth makes for a 19 upclose less you have some way to neutralize the combat reflexes (there are some even when he is stealthed), however even with an 11 attack an opponent has to roll above the average 7 to hit a 19.

On top of that there is No modern age Nightwing with the Titans keyword (will probably be fixed in the Titans set), so for now if your stuck at a venue that plays mostly or entirely modern age your Titan Team has no Nightwing. For those of us who play this game wanting to use our favorite characters and teams that's a big deal. If you want to go to a big convention tourney or worlds guess what modern age, no Titans Nightwing.

This Nightwing also has the supportive powers most expect of Nightwing while the mainset one only has CCE on damage, but never anything to helo his own attack, or his teammates. I'll take Perplex & Outwit vs CCE any day.

As for other modern Nightwings, the PD one has 0 Stealth and does not feel like Nightwing. The Outsider one has a few things going for him but looses stealth quickly and his backend Stats don't hold quite as well.

Better Nightwings out? I think not.

If they dont fix it I call for a nationwide boycott of buying clix till they do fix it.

I mean I'm all for voting with my money. I doubt that people in effective numbers will boycott over this. I for one refuse to buy the TabApp things beacuse they are overpriced and stupid looking lol.

this would be a great idea if it weren for the fact the distributors by the product then sell it to the venues we play at. so to launch a boycott would only drag in inoccent people. AND WKs KNOWS THIS! thats why theyve been able to sucessfully pull the crap theyve been pulling.

You're right, this could be easily solved if they would just release a Teen Titans set or something.

Inform your venue you won't be buying stuff, they'll order less as a result, fixes that problem.

I suppose the largest problem for me is the "Why?" question.

With all the other complaints, why did this one get merit?

I feel the 10th Nightwing was the perfect version of Nightwing. This was easily the best sculpt of Nightwing in the game, bar none save for arguably the Batman and Nightwing Duo from SOG. He he even had the best costume in his career. The powerset was in balance and he really played like Nightwing should.

A major part of that was the way his trait allowed him to crossover into all the various teams. If there is one character that can fit on any team in the DCU, the character who is the soul of the DCU, it is Nightwing.

The trait as originally laid out allowed paid homage to the best aspect of Nightwing's character. That has fallen by the wayside.

Now granted, players using Nightwing can't get themed prob with Pet Avengers or Thunderbolts anymore. But this sword cuts both ways, Outsiders and Teen Titans players suffer a blow to comic accuracy..

A comic accurate trait and near perfect representation of a major iconic character have suffered a very crippling nerf, and all the while I have to ask, "Why did this even need to be addressed?"

I laugh at this. I want nightwing and gandalf for my theme teams!!! Um what theme? You can still use them together. They work the same. That's not a "theme," you just want the free prob control.

Just for the record, you were never allowed to do this. Under the old wording, "When you reveal" comes after "When you Build", so by the time NW and Gandalf received the keyword, your ATA's were already assigned, and couldn't be added to them.

Your not the only person to give this reason to change them back, But that reason was never allowed in the 1st place.

Nightwing is my 2nd favorite DC character(Green Arrow being #1) and I have no problem with this ruling what so ever. Was he great before, Hell yeah, Is he still great now, Hell yeah. Damn, I lost theme. What a shame..

For all you Theme Team only guys out there, What did you do up until Legion of Super-Heroes came out? Since Keywords didn't exist until then.

Why do people come up with this lame ### argument. this has nothing to do with gettting free probs. some teams dont have enough pieces to meet a 300pt build in any age so it was nice to have filler.

the biggest issue is the fact these 2 pieces DIDN'T need the change. these pieces were most likely singled out because the can copy named themes and not just generics like others pieces that do what these pieces did. it was a stupid change plain and simple just like how noh vars change was stupid.

to appluad WKs for anything these days is rather asnine as well.
