We've alread said we're looking into it. How is that even remotely like saying that any points brought up (on either side) are invalid?
To me, it says the exact opposite, in fact.
I was translating the TODDRUSSELL jab at Hair10. He's saying if he was RA, he'd automatically dismiss everything Hair10 said just because he's Hair10...
Not JUST the intent, but the wording. The fact of the matter is is that it is perfectly legal with the way everything is worded. So they need to issue an Errata or Clarification, honestly I can't think of how to do it without an Errata. And they need to make sure the Errata is very clear and not something that leads to more problems down the road.
Add to vehicle pilot rules...
"The free action granted from Mind Control cannot be used to make a character a pilot."
There. Problem solved. You're welcome.
There are 542,000 children in foster care. Talk to your local foster and adoptive agency. You could change a life.

i still think after actions resolve the character becomes friendly to your enemies force again..therefore it should auto eject. all this bs ...just peeps looking for a exploitable loophole

i dont understand( not bashing anyone here) why it takes so long to make a decision?
I guess it goes back to not wanting to look like, the “Company YES MEN" kind of thing. They have to make it look like they thought about it before they just go ahead and do what they know Wizkids/Neca already wants them to do.
Let me find the strength to cut back on this game!

I posted this once before but oh well... here goes...
I have NO real insight into this. But I have a theory.
Rules Deps don't get to have direct contact with GD (I would assume some sort of NDA type issue going on). So they have to take the issue to Rules Arb (techG0d), who probably has a million other things going on. He's probably told something along the lines of "make sure it's really important before sending it to GD." So he mulls over the issue to see if he can just resolve it himself. He decides he can't, and the issue will need to go on to GD. This is where it gets tough.
See, GD reside somewhere in the Himalayas far away from contact with the outside world. No one even knows if it's a he/she/they or Elder God. So they need to take an intern and prep them for the journey ahead. They are allowed only parchment, a quill and ink made from the blood and tears of virgins (or Virginians maybe, not sure), a carrier pigeon and warm clothing. He undertakes the immense journey. Sometimes they fail and die and it's weeks or months before anyone realizes. Upon success however the intern meets with the GD and poses the question. And an answer is given. GD is on a different spiritual plane then us and some say time works differently there. Sometimes they are able to make hundreds of dials in what seems to be an hour of our time, other times it takes decades (like a good Spider-Man dial). Some say they don't even speak english, but they speak in the old tongue. So the Intern must write down the response the best he can. Then he gives the parchment to the carrier Pigeon to return. For the intern it's a one-way one trip.
The pigeon must make a brutal journey home. If successful then the parchment must be translated. They try Google translator, but that never works so they go to the most high-tech and mystical form of translation available: Captcha'. From their it can take minutes, or days before a translation bordering on English is received. From there it's proof-read by a blind Spaniard who cleans up the wording and sends it back to Sean. From there it makes it's way back to the Deputies, and finally (if Harpua doesn't forget to give us the message) we receive it.
Again, I have no official knowledge, but I assume it's something like that.
aqhoffman- greatest post possibly ever
jtallday- Jon I wouldn't challenge you if I wasn't sure you are wrong cuz I don't have that kind of energy.

Like I said, they could either stop MC from being used to jump in a vehicle like you mentioned, or they could just change the free action from the vehicle to the pilot for ejection. If the pilot could eject I can't foresee a problem with future similar powers like possession. And remember, there is a difference in heroclix between possessing someone's body and using their body

And WK not providing timely answers allows for those exploitable loopholes. What do they care. There's not a tournament they care about until August so... you know... no rush on their part.
"Characters cannot be given a free action to pilot a vehicle unless the action is assigned by the player playing the character."
Not sure if that'd actually help anything, but I thought I'd give it a shot.
My point was more that any potential change must be carefully considered first. Simply slapping the first fix that pops into your head on to it might have further (perhaps even worse) unintended consequences further on down the road.
Sure, we could word it like X, but does X really fix anything? Or only cause issues of a different sort?
