Is it bad I'm actually considering going to one of these? I have been waiting months for fearsome battle, and since I'm clearly not getting any here, I might as well get some in the States.

If you think you'll have fun, then go for it. If you think you'll have fun at a ROC, then go to that. If you think you'll have fun volunteering to wash Bud's back, then go for that.

It's mostly an issue of having to leave my kid with someone and having to buy a Comic Con pass and all that. It sounds amazing, but I just don't know if my wife's going to be for it (and I'll have just gotten back if I get back in time at all, so she's not gonna exactly be all over an idea that would have me leave by myself).

I wonder how they picked the seven venues for this regional championship program.

I was hoping each city's knight decided who got the events, through a grand jousting tournament.

Well if that was the case, I would have ensured Vegas was hosting. Perhaps they did it by local events going on around that time.

Might have been venues that get good turn out for events. It would suck if it was at a venue that only like three people showed up at.

Or perhaps it was the WES that decided it. Maybe venues should have been better about their reporting. This is probably not true.

There's some Comic Con stuff at Barnes and Noble! The wife got the Hoth Pop figures for her and some blind Marvel ones for me! I pulled all three Deadpools!

Venues that did not ##### themselves out for a ROC event got one of the WK ones. Pretty sad that only 7 made the cut.
