Other than a "Thank you" to someone, I've nothing to add beyond this being a solid point.
I doubt any of us feel like discussing our objects until it's time to use them against the eventual random traitor. Why paint a roadmap until we can coordinate as a group to stop the haunt?
That means this phase is best sped up so we can go back to investigative Nite. Sooner we hit the Haunt, sooner real game gets under way.
(I guess if someone was attacked - which would be both risky and obnoxious on N1 - they may wish to share but even if we know of a thug, we can't do anything to him.)
No Lynch
no lynch and someone, whoever you are, really don't block anyone tonight. I mean, really. I failed at exploring the house. Pah.
I mean sure we can't vote to lynch anyone without it harming them, but why start a game with two phases where people just explore and potentially pick up items if it's not important somehow.
If you let them kill your dreams, it'll haunt you.

That is a great point.

I figured it was to mimic the board game, which is very similar. Nothing is really "happening" but pieces are being moved into place for the next phase.
Perhaps there are baddies out there, but they have yet to unlock their kill power? Like the mafia is "unlocked" at the haunt?

How do you know that there's multiple "baddies?"
