I'm a cable cutter. I've found the combo of Hulu and Netflix to be the best option, while splitting an HBO Go account with another couple. AMC shows are the hardest to get, and I usually just purchase them (I do all my media through my Xbox)

Sports is the hardest, I'll admit, but I've found ways around it. If you're local to your sports team area you can grab a pretty decently cheap antenna that will get the local stations. Unfortunately this only works for "out of towners" if the local team is playing your team.

There's also the less... er.... legit way and finding streams of games online.

I also live in a large enough city, with enough out of towners, that I have local bars that will play Boston sports should I feel like going out and all other options have failed me.

So the Salt Lake Gaming Con has been fun. Played several BRs the past few days, and got 3 ConEx LEs along with a bunch of ID cards and Rare/SR figs I hadn't had yet.

I'm planning to head to Origins. Hope I get to play in a little something.

Awesome Con in DC was pretty fun. Got David Prowse's autograph, got to spend an Evening with Kevin Smith, and played in a Fluxx demo with the guy who runs Looney Labs, Andy Loony. He even gave me an autographed Fluxx card with himself on it (as a Keeper). There were supposed to be Heroclix in the gaming hall, but the people running it didn't show up while I was there. Oh well. No big loss.

Cool to hear. Since SLGC only runs Thurs-Sat, I spent today driving back to South Dakota. Currently crashing in Rapid City before the final stretch drive tomorrow.

So yeah, got 4 ConEx ID cards and 4 ConEx LEs from Battle Royales (as well as a bunch of rare/SRs I didn't have yet), plus my drow warlock kicked a fair amount of booty at the D&D tables. That was a lot of fun.

What is going on at Origins as far as clix goes? Just so I know if I should bring some of my own or not.

OK, so I have embarked on getting caught up with Hell on Wheels. Just started S2 and I am digging the western action/drama. Excellent cast and scripting, so far. I almost wish that I could substitute Cullen Bohannon with Jonah Hex as the main character. I see there being room for a fit, given the scenario.

Because I have so much travel this month, I figured I'd download KOTOR on my Kindle Fire (since it's completely free for Amazon subscribers).

Best decision I've made in a while.

I cannot understand why they don't take the exact same engine on KOTOR and simply create additional games, new content and stuff. Its a gold mine. The game mechanics are so good and it has such a loyal following. There is no need to update anything: graphics, gameplay, mechanics.
