I voted for TSP randomly based on his post count since nothing else was happening. I don't particularly like his response/counter vote onto me.

How are people not liking a Vig claim on 2 day?! Honestly, this doesn't even have anything to do with TSP or his Let It Snow claim. Someone claimed Vig on day 2.! What am I missing?

I dunno, and it makes me want to vote for cbob or Roy.

The claim is fine, it's the immediate vote for me. But since no one has come out and also claimed vig I'll remove my vote for now.

Sounds like a parenting fail to me.

Frankly, I agree with this. The fact that TSP immediately went "HOHO TAKE THAT!" with his vote really rubs me the wrong way, vig or not.

Likewise, though not Roy so much. cbob starting a train on Truffles for a pretty soft reason bothers me though.

Well, Roy hadn't responded to the claim yet. A mafia hitter caught D2 could claim vig to a) try and get out of it, b) draw out the real vig. Heck, if there's a mafia doc they could play the "let the vig take care of it" card, doctor him, etc. Now Roy saying he voted based on post count, not info, makes all this way less likely, but I repeat that he hadn't responded when I voted.

Why? I didn't vote TSP, I voted Truffle for the reasons I laid out. In fact, I chose her specifically because I don't like her vote whether TSP is town or not.

I'm also not so sure "Let it Go" is a Christmas song... granted I haven't seen Frozen. From what we've seen all the roles so far have been pretty on brand with the whole Christmas thing.

Still, the vig claim is bold... but it could also be a mafia fake claim.

What would you rather me do, vote for the claimed Vig (which several people have already expressed a problem with doubting that claim) or join his frankly terrible reverse vote? Or I could start a new random train... or start a train based on soft reasons. Soft is better than none, right?

I didn't realize originally that Roy voted for me first. If he were a maf power cop, he would have just held it, so the fact that he chose to vote for me makes him less suspicious.

But I do like voting for Truffle, as it turns out. Switching from one train to another on a small note seems a little unusual. Continuing to push for a vote on Roy also seems a little weird. It is day 2. All reasons for starting a train are on soft reasons.

Whoops... Indeed he did. That makes much more theme-sense now.

Considering the same post has him saying that he didn't take an action, I'm less inclined to think it's a mafia fake claim. Because if you (for example) had tracked him making a kill, and that's why you put on pressure, then he gets exposed because he clearly DID take an action.

So for the moment I'm inclined to trust in TSP despite the counter-vote. Still not certain about the Truffles train. I mean, it just feels shaky to me.

What would you rather we do?

Reason I voted Roy is because someone who just claimed Vig on day 2, who is likely town because of that, well I'm going to follow them more than anyone else at this stage in the game.
