(+10)Natt The Hat: At the beginning of the game, place adjacent a Natt The Hat bystander token as described on the back of this card. UNIQUE MODIFIER - When Hitman is adjacent to a friendly character named Natt The Hat, they both modify their attack values by +1. Hired Assassin: During your first turn, choose an opposing character. If Hitman or Natt the Hat KO's that character, you score an additional 50 victory points.
A Rage In Arkham Closing Time Colt M1911s: When Hitman makes a range attack, he instead rolls 1d6 and an extra d6 for each target of the attack, then chooses 2 dice for the attack roll. Ah, the most successful character to come out of Bloodlines and in desperate need of a clix remake (fingers crossed for the Harley/Gotham set). You did a great job across the board with his powers. Outwit for telepathy, improved targeting for x-ray vision, etc. And using story arc titles for the standard powers is great flavor text. Between Natt the Hat and his unique bonus when using Hired Assassin you've got a dial that feels different from all the other armed yahoos roaming Gotham. Great job.

Always touted as the successful new blood, and yet he quietly went away with end of the '90s
For his dial I wanted some gusto to it and i definitely didn't want to do something derivative of the existing one. I always hate when they essentially remake the same dial for the same character. So the guns blazing was out, requiring me to come up with a different design for his two-fisted guns of fury, so I opted for mutiple dice instead, further integrating the effect with his obviously necessary hired assassin . I'm still surprised there was no pre- improved targeting in the hitman dial we got in aa, so at least the sky was the limit for that.
I see you're a fan as you recognized the story arc names in the flavor text, a technique that I use frequently to inject some story into my dials. That, coupled with some bar lingo for his end dial wrapped him.
As for natt, I thought it'd be cool to add him into the dial via pog and make it optional so you can field him on those teams where natt wasn't around. I felt it would be cool to go ahead and up the ante and add in a BFF bonus to the pog , too, and make it a two for one. Between their respective enhancement, BFF and wildcard potential, Tommy and Natt would be a surprisingly effective force side by side.

I feel like the 2007 JLA/Hitman two part story really does cement him as the best thing to come out of Bloodlines. It was essentially a eulogy in comic form and, not counting obligatory post-Summer event wrap up books, that's just not something you see very often.
On the topic of endings, I personally enjoy reading the end of a character. I'm not sure if it's because comics, as a medium, are meant to be eternally ongoing. And of course major characters, your Batmans, Spidermans, Printmoneymans, etc, will never get a real final story. That means the best finals will always belong to well-liked side characters. Hitman's solo title was an amazing character study that really lands the finish.

Similarly, the departure of jack knight was handled very well. It also setup the passing of the torch in an all-but literal way to courtney as organic and bittersweet believable in a way modern marvel has no concept of achieving

Oh yeah, that series was fantastic. And it gives me a good segue to say your take on Starman in this set is another I'll be watching for.

I like the special power. It seems that you took care wording it so it scales with the number of targets. Is there some way he could target more than 2 characters without outside help?
Maddness - talk about super quake. That is awesome. A very hulkish power. With the ramping dial, he can take a few hits getting up, but when he does, he will make you and all your friends pay.

With his he's rolling 2 dice like normal with just 1 target, but if he targets 2 guys he's rolling 3 (and picking 2). But then I integrated the hitman so if he's targeting his mark, he gets 3d6 (choose 2), and if he's targeting his mark and some one else he's now tossing 4d6! (picking 2).
So that's why there's that repetition in the wording, to make sure the final result is clear in being determined by 2 dice chosen from however many the circumstances of his targets is

And his own friends, too , carefully noting it does not specify opposing to keep it in check and to better demonstrate the bezerker fury
It's definitely a hulk dial, inspired because he was blatantly intended to be dc hulk with his rage-scaling strength. To compensate for the activation click and the timing to getting to the good parts, the ed colossal stamina allows you to burn through his dial to get there and the reverse click numbers help to manage that anger. The crazy end stats are admittedly a bit much, but I was a slave to the pattern. Hopefully the fact that their at the end when he's a hard sneeze away from ko and the lack of balances it out.
The flavor text for his powers which pair with (and obviously informed the) powers comes from the issue titles from his miniseries and play into his mood-ring madness, changing colors as his anger and power levels rise.

Similarly to bloodlines, of the 4 titles born from zero hour (fate, manhunter, primal force and starman, all of which I was sure to represent in this set), jacky boy is easily the most successful of those titles. So it's interesting that starman and hitman both had definitive ends

The Woman In The Field: Razorsharp can use Leap/Climb. When she is given a move action, you may instead give her action token to another friendly character in your starting area with a shared keyword.
Climbing Claws
Metagene
Blade Block
Sneak Thief Emergency Parachute: If this click is revealed due to damage from an attack that deals knockback, STOP. Razorsharp can use Combat Reflexes and ignores knockback damage. Hacker
Emergency 'chute is such a flavorful power. The leap/climb power is very effective but not overpower at 50. Bonus points for the excellent selection of keywords.

Cool. It's just such a wonky thing to always be wearing, but truth be told, it would come in pretty handy every now and then. Reminds me of a friend in high school who rolled a pen&paper rpg character set in a future world. He included a parachute in his design, much to the chagrin and teasing of the party. Then waaaay late in the campaign they all plummeted out of an exploding building. Team wipe til my buddy laughed at them all and said "I pull my chute chord."
Priceless
As for razorsharp, it just felt like something so distinctive to her that it needed to he represented in an albeit situational, but "the look on their faces, kind of way." Her "woman in the field" ability is thematic of how the psybarats are going to play out, with an sp keyed to their specific roles
And razorsharp has quite the bevy of kws, pulling the bloodlines hat trick for new bloods, bloodpack and psybarats. Celebrity comes into play for all the bloodpack (since it was a reality show way ahead of its time). The cool thing about new bloods via their execution is that we'll get to see KWs from all over the dc geography.

You reminded me how much I wish we had a Telephone standard object to go wih teleporting Atom. Pretty cool design here.
