Bravo/Rep for the attempt, but that picture is so hard to read I'm gonna take most of the numbers and text with a grain of salt until we get a better picture. So I'll wait on really evaluating his merits for the cost considering how even a few numbers could completely change the effectiveness (or cost!) of the dial.
The clear figure is actually a colossal construct of Iceman from the Wolverine and the X-Men comic, unless Xavier also used the exact same form in the animated series.
Did it ever show up in the TV show? Or might the super boosters contain figures that weren't in the show? If so, my dream of a Krakoa clix might finally come true.
Aww man. I was gonna go all in on DC Rebirth but the X-Men cartoon and Batman the Animated series are the reasons I do love comics. This animated X-Men set might be the first time I have to buy a case
Figures look great! With colossals in the animated set, I would love to see Titan from the Imperial Guard, along with a few other members of that team. They were pretty involved in the Dark Phoenix saga after all.
I'm sorry but there's stereotypes in all gaming groups.
For what chases cost in clix you can get a decent sized 40k force. I enjoy clix but (certainly in the UK) it's dying a death.
What gw have knocked out in the past few years has been stunning. WizKids could learn a bit, especially on QC...
Back on track, this will be the first clix I've bought this year and since avengers last year.
Sure, but that stuff is just a bunch of nobodies, no characters anybody outside of GW players knows. I don't give a good god damn about the frickin' blood god. Plus you have to assemble and paint the models? What do I look like, a sweatshop worker? And the paint is part of the game and affects your score? How does QC even matter when the figures come disassembled and unpainted anyways?
Ok maybe it wouldn't be so bad if the players aren't dropping literally hundreds of dollars and hundreds of hours on a force just to play casual? I can put together a gnarly team in heroclix that can hold it's own in most games for under 10 bucks. And get this, it will be made of characters that have history and lore and a flipping fanbase, not some random Orc Nipple-Clamper or Space Marine Douche Nozzle Deluxe Ass-Blaster that nobody gives a rat's ass about.
I do get where you're coming from, there are stereotypes in every game, I agree. But I did admit that I'm frustrated, right?
