I never watched the animated X-Men show, but I'm guessing this is the 616 Iceman, based on his keywords?

We kept Animated Batman separate so Iceman would be separate as well. If Animated is considered normal DC continuity then I would assume Iceman is of the same 616 continuity as opposed to AOA or some other version. We'd still have to keep this set separate from the normal progression though.
I get that the animated versions are separate from the 616 versions. But the Animated X-Men set is also including some 616 characters, e.g., Red Onslaught, Vange Whedon, Colossus as Juggernaut.
In the past, we've used the dials (not the sculpts) to decide issues like this. Based on g025 Iceman's keywords--e.g., Champions, Defenders, X-Factor--this would seem to be 616 Iceman.
I drafted 616 Iceman and would like to get a ruling on whether this dial is part of his progression.

Looks 616 to me.
HOWEVER. You can't use it until the set drops or it hits the Units section. Whichever comes first.

Didn't know that they were doing that with this set. I found an image of the card, says significant appearance was a comic while the other animated figures show significant appearance as a specific episode so yeah, seems to be 616! Use him - just not too much...lol
