I'm dying on the BBolt/Medusa/Lockjaw node. What are you using to get through? (Ideally not a 5* land solution)
I am not there, so I do not know how they will fair, but so far my 5* node team has been Storm plus M4rvel and Mordo.
Iirc, Mordo has Ebony Maw, Storm has Atlantis, and M4rvel has Korg. Luck gets me lots of AP to start. Once they get rolling, they can really churn out the black AP.
I frequently need to resort to whales here, though.
Last I checked in PVP with 12 minutes left I was in 1st place by a good 100 pts. I ended up in 2nd. It would have been real nice to get that Cloak and Dagger cover. I want to try to use them with PM&IF and see if the combo works better than with Scarlet Witch.

Which PM&IF?
Honestly, outside of the DDQ 4* node, I really didn’t use my 4*s until I started champing them. I found that my 3* champs were generally better than lower level and/or under covered 4*’s.

YMMV
It should be noted that I kept my 4*’s soft-capped at 120.

the 3*s for PM/IF.
When it comes to using 4*s as I am increasing covers I tend to use them on early PVE nodes or the first PVP nodes, where both are the easiest. on the previous post where I got 2nd place in PVP I was using the Charlie's Angels team the whole time. Ch4rles pas leveled up to 130 or 140 so it wouldn't mess with my 3*s even if he was boosted.
The one big downfall of the Charlies angels team, besides Ch4rles's glass jaw, is if for some reason SWs countdown tile gets destroyed 2-3 times early on or a bad placement your team is pretty much screwed.

I used Charlie's Angels for a bit in the GBW PVP. Felt like old times.
One of the keys with that team is that I will typically draft red as my primary color, green as secondary. Not purple? No, because the purple will come along eventually. And green, the more green on the board, the more effective GBW can be placing tiles. Red is the only other offensive color the team has and, even when SW gets KO'd or her tile gets wiped out, having a little punch in the tank can save the match.
That moment of dread when you're in the first slice (ending at 7am est) and it's 7:00 and you forgot to play your final clears.
That moment of ecstasy when you see you placed #46, and you already knew you weren't going to have a top-20 performance.
The emotional roller coaster is WHY I play this game.
I got duped again by my daily results in the HoD PVE.
I keep forgetting that the daily sub results do not have a T20 option.
The result is that I finish off the day thinking I've got a good standing...or better than I usually manage, at least.
Then I wake up the next day to see it giving me result for finishing the sub T50.
So based on my current standings, I think I was finishing in the teens, but my brain was saying 21-50, forgetting that there's no daily T20.
In any case, I have done much better than my expectation would have been so far. I'm comfortable in thinking that unless something drastic happens I will probably nab a T20 event finish for two Gamora covers.

The other thing red can do is obliterate the TUs and specials that Chuck makes.
If I don't make at least two match-5's when I fire off Nat's purple, then I am not a happy camper. There have been countless times over the years where TUs and specials clog up the board so much that it is impossible to squeeze two match-5s in there. I've even had a couple of times where there was literally no way to even make a single match-5.
I caught myself about to make a slight mistake in a game over lunch.
It occurred to me that what I almost did is something that some people may never have noticed or thought about.
I am probably wrong, but I'll go ahead and mention it just in case. Maybe the newer guys haven't thought about it.
The way that you flip your tiles can add a tool to your arsenal for strategizing.
Say that you have this...
G R
G R
R G
You want to flip the green and the red to make two matches.
You could put your finger on Red and slide it right, or you could put your finger on green and slide it left.
It would seem like the same result, but there are a couple ways the choice matters.
Basically, the one on which you put your finger is counted as the "first" one, and which one is first determines a couple of things.
1) It sets who your front character will be on the opponent's turn.
Say that G has Iron Fist's icon on it, and Luke Cage is one the red one. If you slide the red one right, then Cage will be in front. If you slide the green one left, then Fist will be up front.
There are many reasons to make sure that you move someone specific to the front or the back.
A big one is obviously about who is going to take damage. Maybe you see that your opponent has the AP to fire off a hefty power on his next turn, and say Iron Fist is very low on health while Cage is pretty fresh. You might want to move Cage up front to take the hit and protect Fist, but you might also want to keep fist up front as a sacrifice to keep Cage from losing a ton of health.
Another reason would be effects like Colossus or Okoye with powers specifically triggering off of them being in front.
2) It determines which match damage is going to be dealt first.
Say that we are talking about 3* Fist and 4* Cage. Most likely the one hitting hardest is going to be Cage. You know that a green hit from Fist is going to do, say, 300 damage, and a red hit from Cage is going to be 800. Your opponent's front character has 200 health left. Fist's 300 is enough to cover that, so it could be a good idea to slide the green one first. You have 100 points of wasted overflow, and then the next guy will take to the front will take the whole 800 from Cage. That's 1000 damage total. If you did it in the other way around, then Cage's 800 would have 600 damage wasted followed by 300 to the next guy. That's only 500 damage being taken just because the order is switched.
Anyway, like I said, it's probably something most people realize, but I'd never seen anyone mention it. As such, in case it helps someone's game I figured that I'd go ahead and post about it.
Both Kitty Pryde AND Bishop are boosted. This should be tons of fun.
In all seriousness, though, I read the description, but I'm not sure I have it. Am I correct that this one is going to be like the Snowball Fight where your team has to have one of three specific people and then you choose two more from everyone else?

That's correct.

I think you won't see Kitty and Bish together...but who knows.
You are probably right since Grocket is pretty much the glue there.
That said, this game seems to have its fair share of net deckers who mimic the current hotness without thought and then just assume that a team with most of the same parts will still be almost as effective.
I see Bishop/Strange as often as Grocket in Sim these days. But I think it will depend on where Bishop is boosted (how high, changing his threshold).
I think Grocket+Phx or ProfX will be doing a fair amount of work. Having Kitty's threshold lowered to 3 because of the extra X-person on the team just makes her more viable.
