I know and I told him to remove them as well. I had a lot of suggestions for his deck but its kind of his baby. he doesnt take constructive criticism really well.
lol, actually i take constructive criticism very well. but the thing is most of the suggestions i've been getting i have already tried and either clonflicted too much against my stratigy or my style of play. i have ran archfiends exclusively for over a year and a half trying to master these guys and quite simply about half of the current staple stratigies and cards don't mesh well in an archfiend build. not to say that they arn't good stratigies/cards but that archfiends are a breed of thier own.
i understand totally where you're comming from and in lots of ways agree with you. the thing is 1 or 2 -1 type cards can be advantigous and are sometimes nessesary to get your stratigy going. a great example would be when going up against a cc rfg deck. if your monsters arn't staying on the field long enough and/or keep getting rfg'd instead of hitting the grave then it becomes necessary to get a big beater in the grave so you can resurect it to the field to deal with the monsters that are causing you headaches.
i will admit though, iron blacksmith is a very intresesting idea. a little slow but interesting none the less.
djsb: lol good to see you're not lacking in confidence when it comes to your arches. since this post is in your thread i will bow down and sit at second place. but um, i can't quite remember, who wrote most of the archfiend tactics thread?
lol, anyway, (smack talk aside) personally i like the arch build you have going. you will always be one of my archfiend-brothers-in-arms. make 'em cower under the might that is terrorking baby!
The iron blacksmith Idea was really because one its a one for one trade and two it can help bring equips to your hand so you can activate AC. I admit a turn slower than you might want but some times that's ok.
I also agree with you some times it's nessassary to ditch and reborn a card to gain field presense but in respects to that it also presents a lack of consistancy. I think you really should try a pot of avarice in this deck. it will help put monsters like des rook back in the deck for terrorking. plus you can search out so much with pandemonium that placing monsters back in the deck doesnt hurt you.

GP:well i was going to make a thread.in fact i was already done with it and then i looked back and saw a archfiend tactics thread.grrrrrr.jk i didnt do that.BUT you never need to bow down to me.it was you that made the deck what it is(almost).i remember you gave great suggestions to me.too bad i cant do the same for you since whatever i suggest,you probably already have tried.:)
i would definately throw a second queen in place of a soldier. she may be a bit slow on the summoning turn but is priceless to roar on standby phases and also helps boost your beatsticks to tackle various nasties that are bigger than 2500 atk.
you look like you updated for the april 1st ban list but you are not running graceful charity or mirror force. I think that both of these cards will help you out in the long run.

yes i need to update it again.i put in a graceful charity but my only mirror force is in my fiendie deck. :D
