There IS an awesome new set coming out. It's called Critical Mass and it's going to hit the stores in December. Could this be that your uncle is just off on the date and name a bit?

I mean "Critical Mass" and "Powerbomb" kind of have the same general theme to them and maybe it was initially called "Powerbomb" in-house during the design phase.

*raises hand* I own the DVD. All of the GI Joe public service announcements are on it and looking at them I just realize how funny they are. Like what is Shipwreck doing watching Young Boys swim from the bottom of a small pond? Why is duke looking through the window of a strange house that probably isn't even in his neighborhood while there are two kids home alone?

The more I think about Powerbomb, the more I love this idea!! 96 figures... you have to include Wolverine, Spider-Man, Elektra, Hulk, Batman, AND Superman. Split the remaining figures three ways for Marvel, DC, and Indy... wow this is a fantastic idea! Of course this set can only be used in mixed tournies as well...
