If you check out the big pics on WizKids site, well, it looks to me like Archangel has white wings, whereas WWIII has grey/metallic looking wings, so it might not be just a face paint.

Also, Silver Surfer appears to be the "marquee" of the set, appearing as the "button" for the Critical Mass set alongside Spider-Man, the Thing, and Storm. Cool stuff.

So it's supposed to be Metal wings, but it's just a paint job? Hrrrmmmm.....

Kraven is a serious beast.

Ick. I just notice Kraven has only 1 ranged target.... Incapacitate isn't as cool if you can't hit more than one at a time. He's still good, but I'm dropping him to Deathstroke level.

Kraven is Marvel's E batman, from the looks of it.

Angel is pretty sweet, but Kraven is definitleyy the more game worthy piece.

I have a theory..

Maybe the Archangel depicted here is technically the one that was in that Joe Casey relaunch, who carried around a big gun. He still had blue skin then.

Otherwise, his wings do look darker, but maybe it's just the photo.

Who knows, we haven't seen whether or not they'll do a different sculpt/paint job for the exp. Angels. This was certainly a surprise.

The Kraven is REALLY well done.

I figured Wizkids would wait until Halloween to give us some extra preview figures. Nice way to end the week. Boneyard's info continues to prove incredibly accurate. I like the way the sculpts look, especially Corsair. No complaints about Kraven either. I assume the regular figure's stats might be toned down a bit.

To me, Christopher Summers seems like a very viable secondary attack piece. He has RCE (sure only a 6 range, but has a 10 movement to get farther up the board faster), then BCF if anyone bases him and attacks, plus Willpower so that you can push those first clicks relentlessly, and he's only 39 points.

I agree Warren and Sergei are superior, but for the points, Summers is really pretty good.
