I may be wrong, but I thought that you could not do a formation repair since it is by definition a close combat action and vehicles can't be in a close combat formation.
yes vehicles can be in a close combat formation depends on their SE for example the Sw J-37 has flamers right . So naturely is allowed in to close combat formations but it must be the primary attacker ok. Same with repair as I think. Also I think the JesII for the SC will have 3-12 no streak but instead have IT that makes sense. The SC will also have the lowest costing arty besides the Mortar Teams which ok. ATV are like tikes they will have wheel move mood. The SC Raider MKII is great with harden armor for 106 makes almost immune to vtols and infrantry. The Combat enigeers will have repair not any thing funny like some of you guys think. Great ideas but no new se for along to come I think like t=new se will never come i think.

I totally agree, I don't think everything they do is good for the game. I think they are trying to do the right thing though. I mean I doubt they are sitting in there offices saying "man how can we drive everyone away from the game". My point was that just because things change sometimes for the better, and sometimes for the worse it doesn't mean they are picking favorites.
Very compact answer, but I don't think this little correction will convince people that WizKids believes in equality for all factions. We all know that some SE's are more equal than others, and some factions simply have more of those more equal SE's.

B-Wizkids is so out of touch with the way the game is played that they dont relieze the possible effects of things they do until it is to late
C-They have rules coming that we dont know about, but that still doesnt explain why the Spirit Cats now have a 255 point 16 inch range monster with pulse, while no other factions have a 16 inch range unit (Drexel and Artillery dont count)
Hey phantom yes drexel does count in my Books!(and every one my venue thoughts aswell) 14 on 22 probably will hit! ENERGY WEAPONS ARE BLOCKED BY BUILDINGs SC Always ENERGY WEAPONS. I just keep on responsing like that if you keep on flaming me.
The Steel Wolves have 2 16 in ranges (Sadia Wolf and Yulri Wolf) and the Sword Sworn Balac has a 16 inch range. And thats not counting all the arty out there.
So all in all the Spirit Cats equal the Steel Wolves in unique units with a 16 inch range, and also get a non unique mech to boot.
Except the Wolves mechs are LEs. And does everyone have access to LEs?
Ack. Forget I spoke. My only point was Wizkids obviously did not think this decision through.
I would love it if some one could post their opinion without getting attack for it by everyone on the God-forsaken forums. Then people would not have to be jerks in return.
Firstly, about the Faction War and the victory for DF. Yes they most likely won because they had the most people playing for them, but you did not, I repeat DID NOT have to play the faction that you signed up to represent. My friend Jeff signed up to represent Republic of the Sphere, but he played Steel Wolves when I faced him. Guess what, if he had won, then the victory would have gone to the Republic, not the SW. On top of that, there was a prize for everybody. If you were the only DF player there and you did not get a single VC the entire night, you still would have left with a Viki as a prize. Hopefully everybody that is saying DF won because there were too many people after Viki Drexel will now pull their heads out of their butts and realize they are full of it. There just happen to be a lot of people who like DF and wanted to represent them. Way to go DF, I can respect that.
Secondly, I am so tired of hearing that the Spirit Cats are Wizkids pet faction. It is ridiculous and makes my face get all squinched up and ugly when I read silly statements like that. A few points:
- SC have no good artillery, yet it was artillery that supposedly ruled and still does rule the metagame
- SC do not in fact have a vastly greater number of units than other factions. In fact, I believe there are a couple with more than us.
- SC have no useful AP save for Mikel, yet it is AP that people find so devastating
- SC have no 3 capacity transport STILL. No tank dropping for us thanks. Hell, we do not even get to move our mediocre Towed Artillery if we want to.
- SC have always suffered from mostly poor ranges. Usually we stop at 12 for our longer ranged units, and those with 14" are highly costed or have terrible minimums.
- Have you ever seen how much pain an infantry heavy army deals out to a SC pure force?
- Yes a lot of our infantry is good, but SS and DF have better infantry.
- Arnis is super. Super-####ed against infantry that is, especially those grappling bastards and ones with flamers. Once he loses evade his goose is cooked. My friends know just how to kill off Arnis. It does not take a genuis to do it. More importantly, Arnis is still a 'Mech. Still not as viable as well, not-'Mechs.
- 16" is great. Bring some blocking terrain tards. Infantry and transports can still take other infantry and tanks right up our butts. See my point about inf. heavy armies above please. Besides, SW have 2 16" ballistic 'Mechs, and long range ballistics are their deal. Well guess what? Advanced energy is our deal, so stop crying and get over it.
- The SC Donar is wonderful. The DF one is better. Funny how that works? Gee... the more I get in to this, the more I think that DF is Wizkids pet faction, what with the most highly offensive tank (no pun intended), the best Maxim, a great VTOL, IT on EV-ER-E-THING including infantry, and SE all over the place, not to mention the already high attacks. But wait, they can not repair worth #### and suffer from reduced ranges. If you can immobilize the transports, then they are at a high disadvantage, so it balances you see.
- SC MAD II is 255 points?! Wow! That means that it is going to suck MAJOR ding-dongs! Did you ever think that maybe just like Angus and Marat, its stats drop just as fast or even faster? I bet it is going to have a minimum out the wazoo. I bet it will have an 8 attack by the 5th click. If I am wrong on this one, then I publically apologize. Please refer to the other points in place of this one, I think there are plenty.
- SC have more green units than any other faction.
Also, "The_Phantom" stated that the SC were Wizkids pet faction as though it were fact. It was not an opinionated point. Saying "I believe SC are Wizkids pet faction" is opinion. Saying "SC are Wizkids pet faction" is stating it factually. Get it straight.
