During my recent play testing, MK-KO can be a problem for avengers reservist with their new PC modification.My avengers built has lost many times because cards like:Bring down the house and system failure.Bring down the house messes up reservist making them replace stuff they dont want.


My predictions will be:TNB and common enemy will make it back

I'm going to go out on a limb and say Squad is going to be in lower numbers then people think. It just doesn't seem like the type of deck people will take to the PC.

Expect Avengers, more avengers and Avenger hate type decks. What does that mean? CS and Titans are goin to slip through the cracks again and go all the way. *shutter*

So far to date every PC has yeilded a different deck at the number 1 spot. Common Enemy, Teen Titans, HAT, Curve Sents and GLEE. Hopefully that tradition will keep up after this weekend.

You can't really count Honor and GLEE. I mean, come on....

Ok fair enough, mainly the 3 golden ones all yielded different decks at #1. Thats what i was getting at.

squad is the best swarm deck because of pancea potion and aidia it can avoid nasty pts that demolish other swarm decks.

What do you think about the use of NTZ? Do you think that many people will use it/only the scrubs/only the smart people.

I think that only the scrubs will use it cuse they think that it will win them games. But few of the smarter people will use it cuse they will know how.

I definitely wouldn't knock anyone for using 4 of them. It is a very effective cards against certain decks. Not all decks need to fear it but some certainly do.

Titans, Doom Thunderbolts (tactics) and Squad (panacea) are probably all hoping not many of them show up. CS and Avengers will just be minorly annoyed by them. Still a good card i wouldn't give any disrespect to.

I was not saying that if play 4 you are a bad player. But I think a group of people will think that it will win it for them. I think it is a good card, but it is not a must in most deck. Yes, it does kill off Titans, Doom, Thunderbolts (tactics) and Squad. But do you think alot of that will be their. Cuse I think that aobut 60% of the players are going with CS and Avengers.

But that is just me.

for me it is too often a dead card to take up four slots. And if you are running it in a deck that can use it like CS or a similar mono team deck then you will have an advantage anyway against Doom and and titans. The only Titans player that can beat CS consitenly is the big A. Against avengers and CS it is not very good at all.

Everyone notice the trend of people that are playing decks at the PC that get smashed by NTZ are arguing against it; while those who are playing Avengers-style decks that have no problems with NTZ argue for it? :).

The reality is this: NTZ is very good vs some decks. To the level that certain deck archtypes become non-playable if too much of the field packs the card. And a lot of people are playing those decks, expecting the exsistence of NTZ to be minimilistic (IE: only Sents can find room if they want to, and they expect most won't bother).

But then, there are matchups where it is dead (or at the very least, a very mediocre card); and those include 2 of the biggest decks: Avengers and Sentinals. And making your deck worse vs those can be very compomising.

Now the question becomes, what do you think the metagame will look like, and do you find room for it? It is a 4-or-0 type card, you don't randomly fit in 1 or 2. So count the number of people that were arguing against it (those who are smashed by it), subtract the number that were arguing for it (those that aren't smashed by it), and get the result and decide if you think it's worth the gamble.

Well I get smashed by null time zone but only in theory. It never seems to work great for me or against me even but maybe thats just me. I think prosak got lucky in that is only 'crushed' him in one game. But i think he only played two or three curve sentinel decks in his last two 10ks.
Also MJ said it did not hurt him cause people did not know what to call. But now you do and sometimes not being able to Call down the lightning or heros in resevre can really hurt. But only sometimes.

You put it better than I did in that you have to decide for yourself. Sure maybe it will give you an auto win against an adam prosak or perhaps a J Hager once you figure out what the hell he is playing. but the rest of the day it will often be four dead slots. The thing is no pro worth his salt has to ask if you should run it. You allready know if it works for you or not. i have my results and others have theirs.

Frankly its a little late for questions such as what card should play or what will the metagame look like. If you do not have a solid grasp of the meta as well as what to do with your deck in 90% of the situations.. perhaps you should see if delta can give you a refund:) Of course I am a last minute playtesting kind of guy and am glad i have three more days to prepare. I need it.

Well, I think that Avengers will indeed fare quite well... I do not want it to (because I want the prices on the cards to drop so I can get my hands on them!!!), but realistically, I predict 3 in the top-8!
