Nyssa Raatko
Cost: 6
12/12
Range
Reservist
You are considered to control Ra's al Ghul.
Select a ready Lazarus Pit you control -> Target character with a cost of 4 or less loses all team affiliations, then gains the League of Assassins affiliation and is stunned. The selected Lazarus Pit activates targeting the stunned character so it cannot be KO'd this turn.
Flavor: "She'll kill you and then bring you back just to kill you again later."
Effect could be reworded, but it's kind of cool. Definitely something no other LoA characters has. Not as broken as Wonder-Man -- easier to pull off, but their character won't be KO'd either.
A suggested rewording for MadHatter:
Exhaust a ready location named Lazarus Pit you control --> stun target character with cost 4 or less. That character loses all team afiiliations, gains the League of Assassins affiliation and can not be KO'd this turn.
Flavor:"You're about to die again. And when that happens I'll bring you back again." (from Death and the Maidens #4)
Could be fun against swarm decks if have more than one Lazarus pit.
EDIT:If you want this to work like Wonder Man's:
When Nyssa Raatko comes into play, you may exhaust a ready location named Lazarus Pit you control. If you do, stun target character with cost 4 or less. That character loses all team afiiliations, gains the League of Assassins affiliation and can not be KO'd this turn. Use this power only once per turn.
"Exhaust two locations you control -> Choose one: Recover target stunned character; or, KO target stunned character."
That's quick, to the point, and it seems quite flavorful given her ability to manipulate the Pits and take control of the League. It even makes room for flavor text. ^_^
playswithfire - Yeah, that's a better way to phrase it. In fact, might not even need to give the target char the LoA affiliation of the Laz Pit would be exhausted as a cost.
Might also need "Use this power only once per turn" too.

honestly though, canamrock's nyssa will be extremely broken. Which location does LoA have that you wouldn't rather exhaust to her ability than actually use. I can think of a few. Mountain stronghold (free exhaust and a 4-of), flying fortress (Recovery > +2 atk and flight, especially off initiative), Lazarus Pit (Obviously, with Nyssa's ability, Lazarus Pit is almost useless), or just about anything else.
Activate --> Replace any number of locations you control. KO target character with cost less than the number of locations you replaced
That I believe is an ability that is extremely well representive of KOing directly and location manipulation. Plus it's not completely broken, considering you wont run mroe than 30 non-character cards, and some of those are gonna have to be PTs anyway.
Activate --> recover and ready target character
adjacent to Nyssa Raatko with cost less than
or equal to the number of locations you control
That character can not attack this turn
Flavor Text (if it fits): 'I would die for her a thousand times more, have no doubt'
*This line is only necessary if we are not allowed to name her Nyssa Raatko <> Ra's Al Ghul and control Ra's with her that way.
This is essentially inspired by Death and the Maidens 8 in which Nyssa prefers to have others do her fighting for her and
then brings them back to do so again, most noticeably with Talia, whose quote is the proposed flavor text given when she
banishes Batman from Nyssa's study.
This fits well in a League curve deck as there are enough characters worth using her effect on which are near her in cost:
Bane, Ubu for his KO at the end of combat
Lady Shiva, Master Assassin for her KO during combat
Ubu, One of Many to protect her (and get his bonus if she has the Ra's Al Ghul identity)
I went with the pretty much agreed upon Ra's controlling part, and then included a two way leader effect that sort of shows her attitude as a leader.
Basically it ammounts to being able to replace a location to recover an adjacent character or to KO an adjacent character to KO a resource and go find a location to replace it with. Both effects are once per turn. Basically showing she can be caring and save one of her own at personal cost, or she can be ruthless and kill one of her own to get what she needs.
Considering the artwork ... it fits very well flavorwise as she kills and recovers Talia over and over to manipulate things in her favor.
Loyalty.
Concealed-Optional.
At the start of the recovery phase, you may discard a card. If you do, KO target stunned character with a cost less then or equal to the number of locations you control.
Oddpac, I like that a lot, I just don't know about using it during the recovery phase. Maybe remove that requirement and also remove the "equal to" from the ability.
Here is my own submission:
Nyssa Raatko
Cost: 6
Loyalty
Concealed-Optional
You are considered to control Ra's al Ghul.
Pay 4 endurence -> Search your deck or KO pile for a location and put it face down in your resource row. Use this only power only during the combat phase and only if you control less resources than an opponent.
stewuseless, don't we just repeatedly use your character's ability to recover the Lazarus pit we just used and recover our whole board? I guess the endurane cost gets a little high, but ... I don't know; seems too exploitable
Pay 2 Endurance ---> KO a resource you control. If you do, search your deck for a location card and put it face down into your resource row. Shuffle your deck. Use this power only once per turn.
At the start of the combat phase, choose a character an opponent controls. If the chosen character becomes stunned this turn, KO it.
Loyalty is given simply for the fact that Ben Seck gave. She may have betrayed her father and all, but she's for the League always.
The location tutor ability is my take on of showing her massive finances. The ability to, for a small cost to her, (endurance payment replacing paying for construction) she can bulldoze and wreck down anything and have something more fitting "built" for her, to further her own schemes for the League. It can also be considered another sort of "betrayal" to her father if she KOs a Mountain Stronghold of his and have her own Lazarus Pit built in its place.
The KOing ability is self-explanatory as well. With her repeatedly killing Talia in the picture, it gives the concept that, if she can do this to her own half-sister, she can do it to anyone she wants. Once Nyssa has her heart on killing someone, it's going to happen. Barring any unforeseen complications (plot twists, immunity to being stunned, etc.) the KO will occur. If Nyssa isn't stopped on turn 6, she'll keep killing until she is stopped. Both are palpable to the comic universe as well as VS System universe.

Extremely broken? Given this is a 6-drop, it's not exactly too far off the mark for power levels. The most broken you could possibly get is using the Qwardian Council Hall and Punisher's Armory to make a Willpower-character discard and 3 END into a recovery or KO'ing effect. This is somewhat cheaper than ADitF / RftG, but it's tied to a high-drop character, and is part of a pretty involved combo. Without the Armory, you're getting three uses of the power at most in a turn; with it, you can potentially do it 5 times, but with a 12 END cost to reuse the Armory to do so. If it proves to be too powerful, it's simple enough to make it 3 locations per use, or attach either an END payment to the cost or END loss to the effect. Alternatively, her stats could be made somewhat weaker to compensate. An 11/13 with this ability seems sensible, particularly if she's given loyalty.
