Do you think we could pressure TBS enough to spill on whether or not they brought back dual-aff.?
With Injustice Gang, Secret Society and JLA in the set ... it would be hard to do reprints, especially if you are avoiding dual affiliation AND ally AND leadership AND reservist ...
Then again, most of those characters had dual affiliation with legacy teams. They could go with the teams that were in DWF ... and will likely get featured over and over again [Team Superman, Gotham Knights, Arkham Inmates ... Revenge Squad maybe less so ...]
On the subject of DIG ... Well, Injustice Gang is built around Lex ... who would probably need a functional reprint unless they allowed BOTH dual affiliation AND leadership in the set.
At the mo, I'm more worried about the delay. As I thought DCL was originally going to be in November? (or maybe I just thought it was)
But I just don't want to have to see the same thing they did with DWF, and delay it so much that the next Marvel set is out a month later. As I would be very cross!!!
Also, if they start using images from comic books as art work, I will also be annoyed about that.
But besides that I really am looking forward to this set, and can't wait for the surprises instore. Just wish the previews would start now!!!!!!!
I'll get you guys a little more insight into DC Legends while no-one is looking...
Things you may see:
1) The return of dual affiliation.
2) WaKO was right on the mark with IG and SS being much bigger umbrella teams this time. In a move to reduce the amount of teams necessary in VS, we merged basically any team with the name "Injustice" in its name to the IG team, and we merged the Villains United "The Society" roster with the Secret Society affiliation.
3) Some cards that look like they should be somewhere else... *insert spooky music*
I'll keep in touch! There are many cool things that are afoot in the Vs World...
In Silver Age? They'll be kicking and screaming until they leave the format. Until Crisis leaves Silver Age, they'll be quite good [heck, Revenge Squad provides a Vengence team-up, they have Hellboy still for X-Statix shenanigans, there is always Check/VU as a possibility, and depending on what gets reprinted in this set, the League elements of Deep Green may be reprinted in DCL].
Once Crisis rotates out though ... VU would be relegated to Golden Age and Bring Your Own set. [And oh what a Silver Age that would be ... after X-Men AND Crisis rotates out ... no more Enemy, no more Fate Suite ... hmmm].

I believe that it was always scheduled for late November/early December.
The December Hobby League Kit would contain the Release Celebration cards, so it would have to be in December. Marvel Legends was basically released at the end of August/start of September, which puts DC Legends exactly 3 months after it, with the 3 months of tourney kits [including an Elite Series] held. So, this is the "standard" release time between sets. With Marvel Legends coming out FAST after World's Finest, it may seem like DC Legends is taking longer, but that is because ussually a set aren't that close together ... but the delay of DWF wasn't going to push back Marvel Legends ... since delaying Marvel Legends, with it's "release celebration" basically at Gen Con, would have been very bad.
Also, the Giant Sized Vs of Galactus [unless it's been delayed] would be out a bit before DC Legends ... so it would give us a bit of a fix before DC Legends hits shelves just in time for Xmas.
