If you find it let me know. I have been doing google searches, contacting meet up groups with similar interests, and calling every local store all in an effort to gather as many players in my area together. This would be a tremendous help.
The WoW card game has that, because I used it before. I thought UDE had a generic version, but I don't recall where I found it.
it used to be vs only. then it was wow and vs. Now I only get "so and so wants to play WOW in your area" or something to that effect. I haven't looked into it since.

Yeah, when I stopped I got the same message. I guess I must of found it later than you because the first day I used the map-thingy it was WoW only.
As to the 30 card precon vs 60 card:
I can walk into most gaming stores and buy a 60 card MTG precon and start playing MTG right then out of the box for $10-$12. I can also buy a 40 card Yugi precon (40 card it the min deck size) and start playing Yugi out of the box for $10-$12.
Now why would we want anything other than a 60 card precon?
Reprints and new cards in them would be great and would probably get current players to buy them too. I prefer 4x of cards that follow a theme, but that's all minor. I'd just love if they made them. And all they have to do is try to break even on them. The real gain is it gets more new players into the game who in turn buy more cards and attend more events.

YES, YES make it 60 cards..
Buy a stall, control aggro deck...with a small set of rules and pointers for playing that style
I realy thought this was going to be half the point of the Legends sets, with the big names I thought we would see name stamped starters that looked like say the Galactus product but with a 60 card starter maybe a MEX pack (or w/e) and they'd be like
Wolvering Starter
Magneto Starter
Punisher Starter
Fantastic Four Starter...
the base product is simple enough now and bashy decks are working out better against the meta so newbies should be brought (bought) back to the table. Honestly when I bought that first X-men/BH starter I was a little bummed and a little ticked that it wasn't legal for tournament, even if I didn't know what that realy meant except that I was getting a half product, a sample, hey don't they give those out for free at costco/wallmart?
- Have l2 TOs and allow them to order hobby league kits. Make them available to people who are interested in promoting the game but make sure those people are responsible and accountable.
- Keep product available for drafts throughout the 6 months the set is supposed to be available. . . yes, print runs are determined by pre-orders, but players migrate away from a game they can't get product for and stores don't generally support games that don't give them sales (though I'm sure erick will chastise me and tell me product is still available if I really want it :-)
- Allow local stores to run Marquee Events. Marquees would be a step up from Hobby Leagues and would require an actual storefront to be able to run (making them a little more special than a normal Hobby League). They should also be held at stores that have a proven track record of supporting Vs (regularly sanctioning and running Hobby Leagues for the previous 4-6 months)
- Sneak preview events should come back and be held at the same stores that were Marquee Event candidate. PTOs should be used if no appropriate local store can be found.
- Mega Weekends once a quarter rotated around the country/continent
- Improve responsiveness for points store orders (subcontract if necessary)
- Once a year "PC/World Champs". It'd be nice if this could be at GenCon, but Origins is a good second choice (presuming it's at Origins proper, not in the same town, but off-site. . . I haven't done my due diligence here, so I don't know if Worlds is at Origins proper this year or off-site. . . someone please correct me if I'm off base here)
- Prize packs of MEX/MAA/etc similar to what they did for the Raid Prize packs from WoW
- Have PC/World Champs follow the format instead of leading it
- Investigate the idea of preconstructed decks that reprinted older, desirable cards that may not be available anymore (like everything from MVL/DCL). This should be done in a way where decks are relatively balanced (so you don't get what we had with the Batman/FF starters where Batman had Trial by Sword which proved to be better than anything in MFF). This is the hardest thing to do. . . I know there was something similar to this where a distributor bundled some older product with some "desirable cards". . . the problem was, some cards weren't that desirable anymore. . . I'm talking Tier 1/1.5 cards (Beatdown, Mobilize, Pathetic Attempt, Berserker Rage, etc). . . have them with alternate art and make them all worthy of being purchased just for the desirable card within.
This year's Worlds [unlike last year's Mega Weekend] is at the Origin's event.
Because of the 'decline' of Origin's in recent years, this does make World's one of the biggest events happening at Origin's [as opposed to having it at GenCon, which would arguably have it be overshadowed by the WoW Regional like last year, unless things have gone down THAT much with WoW.

Thanks for clearing this up for me. I can definitely see having Vs Worlds as being a big fish in a small pond instead of having it overshadowed by all the other events (including other UDE events) at GenCon. I'm just sad I may not be able to attend this year due to personal financial issues :(
