Okay, who's the bigger threat? Deathstroke or Black Adam. I think Adam's Impervious needs to be taken care of first.
Both Aquaman and Magneto make their Leadership rolls (4 and 4)
Magneto will push to TK Wolverine to N14.
Wolverine will attack Adam. AV10 on DV15. Needs a 5 to hit. He rolls a 7. BCF roll is 4, and Black Adam's Impervious roll is 1, so I'll get 2 hits onto him. Which puts him out of both Impervious and HSS, thank heaven.
Angel's going to push to Charge Deathstroke. He moves to P12 and attacks. AV10 on DV17. he needs a 7. His roll is 9, so Deathstroke will take 3 clicks, and Archangel takes 1.
Well, that turn went about as well as I could have hoped.
Aquaman quickly briefed the others on the powers and capabilities of Black Adam and Deathstroke.
"Get me over to that Black Adam character," Wolverine said, "and we'll see how well his 'invulnerable' body stands up to my adamantium claws."
"Now you want to cooperate," Magneto mocked him.
"Can it, bub. Just get me where I need to be."
For the second time in a few moments, Magneto exerts his contol over Wolverine's skeleton, but this time uses it to send him right up to Black Adam. Adam is fast to react to the threat, but Wolverine's years of combat training in the danger room and elsewhere allow him to compensate, and his claws take a good chunk out of Adam's hide. Black Adam looked a little surprised that this opponent had penetrated his defenses.
"Great," Archangel said. "That's one foe engaged. Allow me to take the other." He swooped over the other's head and went into a dive, plowing straight into Deathstroke who was trying to hide behind a gumball machine.
"Hey," Spider-Man said, "Doesn't anyone consider me a threat? Well, now I'm all offended."
Ouch! Much more of an aggressive more than I expected from you. You took alot of pushing damage there...really surprised me. But impressive definitely!
Move #1: Cyclops to I20 using running shot. Attacks Wolverine. Needs 5 (with hindering), rolls 8. Wolverine gets 2 clicks.
Move #2: Deathstroke vs Wolverine. Needs 6, rolls 6. 2 clicks more to Wolvie.
"This is surreal," Cyclops thinks to himself as he simultaneously moves into action, "I was just facing Wolverine in the Danger Room and now he and Warren side with Magneto against me?". Still he follows his insticts and blasts Wolverine once he's in range.
"I was cheated out of winning in the Danger Room, Logan. Looks like I have a second opportunity."
"Second or third don't matter, bub. Either way you lose today."
"Maybe," Deathstroke adds, "But not at your hands, little guy." Logan takes a second hit just then but remains as tenacious as ever.
I misread your first turn post, and got Black Adam and Deathstroke's positions reversed. So I moved Wolverine to N14 thinking it was B.A. in O14 and ditto with Archangel and Deathstroke. Where I placed them, Wolverine and Archangel couldn't have hit their respective targets. Not that I couldn't have gotten them to somewhere that they could have, but re-placing them somewhere which doesn't invalidate the moves you made last turn is the trick. (I wouldn't want to take away your hits). As I see it, there's one way I could reposition my guys that would let me attack who I attacked and also allow you to have made the same attacks you made last turn.
If I put Wolverine in O13 instead, he could have still attacked Black Adam, and still have been subject to attack from Deathstroke and Cyclops (Technically I think Cyclops' LoF is partially blocked by B.A., but the mistake was mine, so I'm more than willing to say Cyke has LoF to Wolverine from where he is.
And for Archangel, if I put Wolverine in O13, the only place I can get Archangel to where he could have legally charged Deathstroke and not block Cyclops' LoF to Wolverine is P14.
Let me know if this is acceptable. If you have a cleaner solution, I'm open to suggestions.
The other thing is Wolverine has Toughness, so he would have taken only 1 click each from Cyclops & Deathstroke's attacks. He's on his third click where he does lose toughness.
If the repositioning is okay with you, my new summary is:
Maybe it's because I've just woken up but I'm reread this many times and can't find the placement. Every time I try to rethink it, I get lost. Looking at your placement in the last post only adds to the confusion.
I think we should back track to post #89, this is where a lot of problem is (I believe). I wrote something different in the movement vs recap lines. I am redoing it, you should still be able to make your attack.
Black Adam carries Deathstroke to P13, on light object. Hindering. He's at O14.
Spider-Man to N15.
Deathstroke outwits Aquaman's strength.
(I know this is what I meant to show based upon the lines indicating Deathstroke is on the light object so he's supposed to be on P13 to be hindering or in this case stealthed. I mentioned Spider-Man using defend but that's because I had him at N15 which is not where I posted him).
Cyclops J23
Spider-Man@N15
Black Adam@O14
Deathstroke P13
Heavy I18, P18
Light P13
I'm not sure if this is where the problem occured but unless you find it better another way (I am willing to do that since I think I'm at fault) then why not redo your attack? You don't need to roll, just place them where you want based upon your attack needs. It seems like your killer attack would work exactly the same. Based upon where your figures actually are, I will redo my last move (if possible the same way to be fair, I only won't do it the same if the moves cannot be made legally). Sorry for the long post.
Okay. That's pretty much where I had everyone to start with, except for Spider-Man who's now adjacent to Black Adam instead of one square away. Which means that the way I had my guys placed should work now. Wolverine was TK'ed to N14 to attack Black Adam. With Spider-Man defending Adam with his 17DV, Wolverine would have needed a 7 to hit him instead of a 5. He rolled the 7, so the attacks still succeeded.
Archangel's move is identical to how I originally posted it, charging to P12 to attack Deathstroke. So, after my second turn,
OK now I can't do the same moves exactly so here goes:
Move #1: Cyclops to I20, takes on Wolverine. Needs 6, rolls 8 (2 4s). (I checked with paper and attack is ok). 1 click to Wolvie and knock back to N13. Not exactly what I wanted..
Move #2: Deathstroke (always wanna call him Taskmaster, better comic character but not in this game) will now have to take on Angel. Needs 8, rolls 6. A miss. This birds wings are still unclipped.
Cyclops@I20
Spider-Man N15
Black Adam (2) O14
Deathstroke@ (3) P13
Aquaman moves to L9, but not before grabbing the HO in N10.
Let's try this pushing thing again. Wolverine to attack Black Adam, before he can attack him next turn. AV 10 still, against DV17 (from Spider-Man). He gets a 9. BCF roll is - yowza - a 5. 3 more clicks to Blackie. 1 more click to Wolverine.
"Black Adam and Deathstroke are engaged," Magneto said, but Cyclops is a danger, and Spider-Man can be quite a nuisance as well."
"I heard that!" Spider-Man yelled.
Magneto ignored him and continued, "I can use my magnetic powers to get you right up to one of them, as I did with Wolverine."
"Wait," Aquaman said, "if I grab one of those carts, can you send me and it as well."
"Please," Magneto scoffed. "I have lifted battleships with my powers. You insult me with such a question."
Aquaman chose to ignore Magneto's tone and simply grabbed the display cart he mentioned.
Wolverine meanwhile had scented blood. He pressed his advantage, slashing again and again at Black Adam.
