Is season 9 going to be a reset?

Seasons 9 and 10 are part of the 3-season cycle that started with this one.

Do we have a new Commissioner?

We have at least one new co-commissioner. Gwachitallemalla has volunteered. I'm hoping an additional person will step up for Season Nine. We should be rolling with the new season by the end of the month. Championship game should be going up in the next day or so, featuring Nation X and the Avengers.

I'm willing to be a full commissioner if we don't have anyone else who helps, but I don't know how good I'll be.

I thought the same thing when I took over the HCFL mid season in like Season 4 or something. I'm sure you'd do great. Plus it's not like GQ's leaving so you have him as a resource to ask questions to whenever you need to.

For the final time, I am in the midst of updating the character lists. Keep me posted about any wonky alignments or progressions that may have slipped by me for figures in Trinity War and Avengers Assemble.

Also, it's a good time to bring up any of the odder dials that have come out as to how they should be handled in the league.

For instance, are we cool with five different characters having access to the new Ronin dial? How about the ID cards? I'm cool with having those cards available as an upgrade through those respective characters. And how do we want to handle the new Composite Superman if someone upgrades him?

As for Ronin, every source I've seen said Alexi Shostakov (Red Guardian) was Ronin. I'm not sure when Josef Petkus was, if ever. Blade/Echo have only ever had one person with that code-name, and the only Hawkeye who could be Ronin is Clint.

What're the mechanics for the ID cards? I'm curious how many times an Avenger can be summoned per battle.

I like your solution for the ID cards. I think you can upgrade someone to their ID card.

Right now until we get a new rulebook, Composite Superman is unplayable. His rules require you to place figures in the sideboard (sideline? I can never remember what the exact term is) and there are no official rules to govern that, so I say we need to wait and see what the rules are.

Agreed on Ronin. Alexi, Echo, and Clint are the only wearers of Ronin suit that I know, but maybe someone is better read than I. I haven't really kept up with Marvel since the beginning of the Heroic Age.
