Well sure, but there are certain people who may see a character like Pip the Troll or Calender Man and may not take any interest, because they may like the mainstream MCU characters or something like that. I definitely understand the want for new characters however. MCU is very popular and making a bunch of remakes of certain characters seems to be working even though it doesn't please everybody.
It's not the remakes of certain characters, it's the seemingly endless remakes of all of those certain characters in most every set.
Take the X-Men sets out of the equation... What was the last Marvel set without an Iron Man?
Answer: Spectacular Foes of Spider-Man from 2016.
How about Hulk? Same answer. SFoSM. We even got a 'Hulkpool' figure in an X-Men set.
Thor? He was missing from Earth X (we are getting that version in this set instead), but had a strong presence in SW:B and headlined his own set since his absence in, you guessed it, SFoSM.
They can rotate the MCUvengers into and out of sets, leaving more room for new characters and other characters that are not in the modern age environment right now.
They do not need to jam them all into every set.
We have enough Iron Men. It won't kill sales if they give him a set off now and then, yet here he is getting his own little sub-theme.

Well said. I am burnt out on some of these characters. A consequence of the overproduction of certain characters is that I resent buying a new version of a character just because it has a more powerful dial or interesting mechanic. Meanwhile, unclixed characters often end up with generic dials and bland sculpts.
By contrast to this set, SFoSM, to me, is just about an ideal set.
hopefully the upcoming Fantastic Four set will be a more focused set like with the X-Men sets, but i have a feeling we'll see some of the main Avengers sprinkled in somewhere.

spiderman, black panther, hulk and wolverine are already confirmed in it

With Wolverine being in that set, it looks like it may be even more integrated with characters across the Marvel Universe than we usually get.
I mean to be fair Wolverine, Hulk and Spider-Man were in the "New Fantastic Four" along with the Danny Ketch Ghost Rider, so maybe we'll get him as well?
And Black Panther is a big character in the FF books. Heh, whoever thought we'd get complaints about T'Challa the same way we get them about Bruce and Tony.
There's no way that after all this time everything we want in an Fantastic Four set can be worked in.....and even knowing that I'm going to complain if I don't get my wants DARN IT!

As much as I am eye-rolling the prominence, and even the necessity, of the Iron Man sub-theme in this set, I still love sub-themes and off-themed characters quite a bit. There are many Heroclix sets of the past whose shining lights were the sub-themes hiding behind the primary theme.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
Oh I hope the F4 set is really F4 focused too, but let's be real, the F4 set is the PERFECT chance for Wizkids to make the same exact heroes once again, this time in F4 suits.
That says "Becky Barnes," and the art is from Exiles where she was the sidekick to the Peggy Carter Captain America. So... kinda Rikki, kinda not.

In recent Future Foundation mini, it has kinda retconned the two characters into being the same character through a weird multiversal reincarnation type of thing....lol
