I feel the pain. Our shed blew away with a recent storm and is in ruins; cloth shed anchored down, and the storm ripped all but 1 of the anchors out of the ground with the shed. So now we don't have much choice but to get a metal one and that's gonna probably eat through our stimulus.

Nice. About the only other doom chase I want is Conqueror Doom, but that's mostly for the theme team shenanigans.
Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't leave ANY of the Doom chases lying on the ground if I found them. I suppose my next highest want would be Prisoner, just cuz he's 616. But I think me, Elevator Doom and Strangedoom will be very happy together without the others.
PS: I did it. I feel so irresponsible but I did it.

I sometimes have to trick myself into the big HeroClix purchases. If a certain ‘Clix is bordering on too expensive, I’ll buy it together with a bunch of cheap ‘Clix I also want. The total price for a bunch of ‘Clix is much easier to swallow.
Years ago, when I bought myself a Fin Fang Foom (whom I could easily justify being expensive), I used the opportunity to snag avas067 Rick Jones. I think he might have been my first Chase.

I use this trick as well, especially when it comes to Magic cards.

Sorry to hear this too.
See, now I feel guilty for blowing $150 on a lil plastic toy. Being an adult sucks.

WHERE WERE YOU WITH THIS ADVICE THREE HOURS AGO??????
Came up in my game today: Did Doom 2099 get a major buff from the new PAC?
(-7) ONE NATION UNDER DOOM: FREE: For the rest of the game, for each opposing character, the first time each turn that opposing character would be given a CLOSE, RANGE, MOVE, or POWER action, you may roll a d6. 3-6: That character can't be given that type of action that turn.
Time was, you could declare a RANGE against Doom and, if Doom denied it, you could elect POWER instead to use RCE and take your shot anyway. But, since RCE isn't a POWER anymore, that option has been lost.
I got this to work today and my opponents were totally demoralized: I wouldn't let the close combat guys MOVE and I wouldn't let the ranged guys RANGE...and I really didn't see what other choices they had.
