You know what has me really considering Thawmus as mafia, the fact that he got so upset during the Tyro lynch. Like I said before, that tends to happen when things aren't going his way.

I was thinking more about any attempted lynch of JackA, but I wasn't really around for Tyro.
Indeed. I had my sleep-addled gourd mostly wrapped around it with the re-read, but any help is appreciated.

As for Normal, yeah, he could be he female magic killer as well. I know without a doubt he's a magic user. Possibly he saw his opportunity to use a fake claim he's familiar with.
Female. Magic user.
Since I've been hinting at Imoen since my very first post (Heya!), if I was bluffing, that would be a very long, and ballsy, con. All it would have taken is someone else saying, "Hey, wait a minute... I'm Imoen!" and I would have been hosed.

Thawmus, what proof have we seen of his convoluted power claim?
None, really. Which is one of the reasons I am suspicious.

To both of these, I have no idea how he normally plays, so I never said anything, but, yeah, I was a little surprised about how defensive he got, too.
No one left has admitted to either RB'ing or misdirecting. And most everyone has a verifiable power (Pax is doctor, Truffle encouger, etc). The only people that I don't have down as a confirmed power are you and Kedryn.
So, if Kedryn is the SK as you surmise, that means you must be the misdirector/RB-er... which means you lied.
And if you aren't lying, then Kedryn must be the misdirector/RB-er and he can't be the SK.
Given the information at hand, how is this reasoning incorrect? If you've got another explanation, I'd love to hear it.
Certainly:
You, or JoH, is lying.
It is as you say. If Kedryn is the SK, then it stands to reason that he likely doesn't have another ability (still possible, however. Every mod tries to buff their SK some way), and could therefore not be able to roleblock you.
However, neither can I. I have no roleblocking ability whatsoever.
So, I have to re-examine what I know:
1. Pax is Alistair
2. Truffles is the two rodent whatevers
3. JoH is Aribeth
4. Shel was most definitely Sten
With that in mind, one of the roles I flubbed on with my guessing, was yours. Furthermore, the deadlock scenario that you have described, only exists by your say-so. If you are lying, however, then that deadlock no longer takes place. If JoH is lying, then that deadlock no longer takes place.
From my own standpoint, I know that I kill every other night. I also know that my action failed.
That means one of you is lying.
Frankly, the problem arises with convincing the others, which I obviously cannot do. I was copped successfully as town (which, if JoH turns up dirty, will now be thrown out), but I have not been in a single writeup (That I've seen). Furthermore, I was a claimed neutral from the beginning.
Really, the only hope I have left is if they trust me more than you, which I don't see happening. With that in mind, I believe I have already lost. I will take great solace in that my autopsy will incriminate you tremendously, though, and that you cannot out-vote Truffles and Pax, unless you ally yourself with the mafia or the SK (whichever one of those you are).
I could really argue about this forever, but I won't be able to bring any new facts into evidence, so I don't really see the point.
Re: Me getting testy before: Truffles, I was upset because I had to argue with Rokk. I always get upset when I have to argue with Rokk. The reasons are not really something I should talk about openly.
However, I cannot deny that it has been a "tell" for me in the past. When I'm playing with Darq, Rokk, Stan, and Pax, however, it's really not something you should read too much into.

For clarification, I don't want to make it sound like I don't like these people, or that I don't enjoy playing with them. They just tend to make my temper flare sometimes with their reasoning and remarks. They're not bad people, bad players, or anything like that. It's just that sometimes we are oil and water, and sometimes we are ketchup and mustard. Kinda a crapshoot.

I guess you're right: it pretty much comes down to your word against mine. I think I've been pretty obviously Imoen since the beginning, so I geuss I'll have to hope they believe me.

May the most convincing role win
So you're admitting that out of you and JoH, you are the one who is lying?
Perhaps we should go down a different route, here. Let's pretend, for the moment, that neither of us is lying. In that situation, it would mean that JoH is lying, instead.
I have to be realistic, and understand that you will not see this from my perspective, nor believe my perspective to be what I claim it to be. However, the truth is that my perspective is that of someone who does not have a roleblocking ability, who was targeted with a jailkeep (which should have been why I failed), failed, and yet the jailkeeper also failed.
With that in mind, someone would have had to misdirect me, and roleblock you. Or roleblock both of us. Perhaps both JoH and Kedryn are Mafia?
That would still mesh with my percentages. JoH could be still telling the truth about his claim. It was discussed at length, earlier this game, that Aribeth turned out to be a villain, something I hadn't known, since I had never played through the NWN campaign. Shel pointed out many times that JoH could have portrayed himself as the town cop easily, as Mafia. Perhaps he isn't a cop at all, and is instead a roleblocker, or misdirector.
I am now concerned that all three baddies are JoH, Kedryn, and Normal. If that is indeed the scenario, and one of you three are indeed capable of roleblocking, then the town is going to lose. You can out-vote Truffle and Pax after today, which would then break their ability to stay alive to the end.
This makes today's lynching decision very important.

His wording is odd, but that may be all it is.
