This makes me VERY VERY VERY excited for the set. It looks like they listened to a lot of the comments about the past sets and how future sets should be made up (i.e. complete teams within and filling out long needed remakes). It will be a sweet birthday gift for me.

Now count the number of X-Characters in those sets. You don't even need a whole hand. Hell, you don't even need a whole hand for adding up every X-Character since M&M. Outside of the few X-Force characters in WoS, they haven't Clix'd any X-Men in 3+ years. For one of Marvel's most well loved groups, that's too long.

As you can see from an earlier post, I agree that there should be some X-figs in every set, and my complaint isn't that GSX is too theme-heavy with mutants, simply that it's too theme-heavy period. If this was a set for the Fantastic Four and it had just as few non-theme figs, I'd be just as concerned. I understand the X-Men have a huge following; I myself am a fan of the X-Men in the 80s, New Mutants, Generation X, and Academy X. Even so, I recognize that not everybody is, and this set is putting too many eggs in one basket...
