When you are used as a reference, then it is pretty much a guarantee that you are the go-to for unit knowledge. The Clan here on the Realms simply wished to acknowledge that through a proper title.
I prefer to think of myself as an equal. Everyone here's a winner (or wants to be a winner and comes here to get that winning edge). Lots of people contributed to make me who I am (although, unlike Frank Costello, a lot of people didn't have to die for me to be me).
But if nominated I would serve. I'd just be more into tactical traditions. Bring forth the ancient holotapes, that I might stripmine them for insight! :)
(And the dancing girls, but I don't think they provide enough dancing girls at Clan conventions anyway)

Then I put forth to the Touman of Clan Jade Falcon the call:
SaKhan Tirrex had already formally nominated Highdancer as loremaster. Does anyone second this nomination?
Sylph Battle Armor 30
Sniper Artillery 61
R10 Mechanized ICV 45
Tokugawa Heavy Tank 62
Clan Battle Armor 18
Clan Battle Armor 18
Clan Battle Armor 18
total 750
The idea here is that your opponent can't just feed the mortis puny basers, because because you eat them and take their life energy, or however that works. the coolant system keeps it in the game, especially if it uses its ppc.
The sparky has 15 move with the pilot, so it can get around stuff, and with double rate it can do 4 damage to a baser. The long range on both means you can keep the fight at a distance if needed, or you can pound the crud out of them if they get too close.
In all my time in this conclave, I can think of few who would more readily deserve the title of Loremaster than Highdancer.
It was with this savvy and capable warrior that the dictates of the XAC were composed, and few can doubt his knowledge and suitability for the role; those that would should call Batchall or hold their tongues.
I bid you all; recognise your loremaster: Highdancer

I suppose it's time for a speech then!
The first time I didn't feel it, but this time I feel it, and I can't deny the fact that you like me, right now, you like me!
-Sally Fields
Wait, no, that's not right.
If drafted, I will not run; if nominated, I will not accept; if elected, I will not serve.
-William T. Sherman
No, that's not right either.
We'll win this war, but we'll win it only by fighting and by showing the Germans that we've got more guts than they have; or ever will have. We're not going to just shoot the sons-of-*******, we're going to rip out their living ********** guts and use them to grease the treads of our tanks. We're going to murder those lousy Hun *********** by the bushel-*******-basket. War is a bloody, killing business. You've got to spill their blood, or they will spill yours. Rip them up the belly. Shoot them in the guts. When shells are hitting all around you and you wipe the dirt off your face and realize that instead of dirt it's the blood and guts of what once was your best friend beside you, you'll know what to do!
-George S. Patton
Victory was won by my touman for the glory of the Falcon last Saturday. I was challenged to three matches of 900 points each. Over the course of the three matches, I only lost 2 battle armor units that gladly gave their lives for the glory of the Clan.
My force consisted of a pair of Lokis each with Frihet grad and IT, a pair of Hadur aty, and three formations of BA (Purifiers and CBA), plus True Grit to nullify the opponent's faction pride.
The first match was a mixed force recruited to a mongrel house I do not remember. It was entirely composed of Mech units and I picked my targets, dropped my arty, and made a nuisance with my infantry. His forces were quickly and soundly defeated. He fielded a captured Thor (Tremor) and a couple smaller Mechs. My Lokis were upset that a Spheroid would dare to pilot stolen CJF property into a battle against CJF forces. His audacity was rewarded with his death.
The second match was against House Kurita's forces. They charged forward, intent upon drawing me into a close fight any nullifying my artillery. My infantry worked their magic and my Lokis demolished his Light-class Mechs while his larger Mech unit overheated and was captured by a group of Purifiers.
The third match saw my Falcons go up against the hated KErensky in her MC4 and a band of her "Wolf Hunter" rabble. First one of her followers died, then she fell, and then her Kelswa tanks were destroyed and the rest was mop up.
I enjoyed the 2 Loki set-up. I figured the opponents would be using mostly Mech forces and gambled on a fully combined arms approach. It worked very well and I hope that these players learned a lot about playing the game (they are fairly new to the venue and only really play in their own group). The Falcon banner flew tall that day in glory, a pair of Lokis raising their arms in victory.
(My Lokis took all of two clicks of damage all day and that was in the last game).

Welcome back to the fold trothkin. Great build able to deal with a variety of threats. Like Raven said, "Twin Lokis are the Shiznet". I'm most glad to see the report of the victory over the Kuritan warriors. We have a local Kuritan warrior who is very skilled having never lost to our great clan. I am eagerly awaiting the opportunity to hand him his first defeat at the hands of our noble touman.

Now to make a tactical retreat after stirring this thread up again!
Sorry for the extremely late reply! I was not sure what to run with echo, was actually asking for advice:) Oh and that custom echo paint job kicks but! Whats the cost to get one to South Africa?:)
In other news, while i was gone i did get in two matches using a weird army:
-Shrike(Rose) + shizuka + EC
-Hue
-Sniper Art
-Elementals*3
-Skadi
The first was against a ROS player(Scourge + solitaire + ?) who had, had horrible luck in that old 2d online mech game the morning before, so when i MDFA both his mechs his morale just went down the drain and he withdrew, took about ten mins and shrike only took 4 clicks i think.
The second was against a steiner player who had some turkey sandwich the last time we played, he ran:
It was a very close game , that could have gone either way, but when time ran out both his mechs was dead and the carnivore if i remember correctlyand as far I remember i only lost a elemental. I havent played Black Rose in a while, so this was a nice reunion!
