Falling Down and Puppet Magic are GREAT cards to run in a fiend deck. Falling down serves like another Necrofear of sorts and Puppet Magic helps get monster revival and will also save you the cost, if you're running low on lifepoints. Plus its a wonderful way to get Necrofear back in action for more controlling power.
I have completed my deck list for my Archfiends!Soon their fury will be unleashed! Also I forgot to mention in my first post didn't make it clear I love my Archfiends just didn't like how they hurts me so.I might put my deck up later.

ive once again fixed my deck
hehe
but im still not sure about falling down
with six real archfiends in my deck(actually, 5 since 2 kings, 3 soldiers)
its a bit of trouble pulling out the king.
Other times people will book of moon their monster or my af.
:S
maybe ill have better luck next time.
Im not sure which to use , life absorbing machine vs Falling down
I got 2 necrofears and ha des now. looking for some oher cards i could add
and i was wondering
if there was anyone, who had a successful archfind deck(pure)
and if i could also get anyone's opinion on familiar knight and marauding captain, which do u prefer?
ty everyone+++++^^
if you've got Marauding Captian, i would run MC over FK
for the pure reason that MC is a better tech card that can be used with Terrorking, Dark Jeroid, Newdoria, or any other monster card you'd want to swarm for the turn.
But if you're unlucky enough to pull/trade or don't have the funds to shell out for a single, then Familiar Knight is a viable back-up, just be careful to remember that it's effect only works for level 4 monsters and he must be destroyed due to battle.
I'm actually not too sure about which one I like better... They both obviously have their advantages, but I guess I just got used to playing (and seeing) Farmiliar Knights over MC's. They're played quite a lot here in both Strike Ninja and Chaos decks, but then again come to think of it in a Fiend deck they both seem out of place, so MC would be the better choice, like Nitestar said
Nice to see you posting Pyrofire, good to have you back!
As for having a pure Archfiend deck, I'm not sure if that would be the best way to run things. Eventually I'm going to structure an Archfiend deck, but I can see the sweet advantages to keeping a Dark Ruler and Dark Jeroid in the mix for some serious tech ability. I dont' know if I'd run Necrofear (gasp, are you serious?!) but some of the Archfiend monsters just don't quite have enough pull to work well on their own. They work best as a team or a little bit of tech help.
At least that's my 10 bits at this point until I actually run one together. 8^D

Familiar knight is working great for me at the moment(cant find a mc:S)
Next week im looking to get a jinzo and 1 more necrofear^^
its such a funny card.
Btw, can you trap hole jinzo?-_- i lost a tourney cause of this ..... :ermm:
yea
well,^^
if anyone finds out how to build a successful archfiend deck, id love to hear about it
>.<2
till next time
cya:P
Jinzo cannot be trap holed, by the time Jinzo is on the field it's effect would have been activated negating all traps, same goes for Bottomless Trap Hole. Jinzo can however be destroyed by Solemn Judgement and Horn of Heaven because these 2 negate the summon as well.
GOt me 1 The Creator, 3 Creator Incarnates, 2 Monster Reincarnation, 1 Divine Wrath and 1 Mystic Swordsman LV 6, which went to NeoHunter for his Warrior Deck.
Divine Wrath, The Creator and 2 Monster Reincarnations went STRAIGHT into my deck.
On a PERSONAL note, I think it's unfair that Warrior Decks have Mystic Swordsman LV 6 and We fiends STILL can't play Yata Garasu. Oh well, time to report the Fiendish Cards:
Remember this guy?
Kozaky
DARK/Fiend/1/400/400 A workaholic fiend who devotes everything to his research into the languages of Dark World. His mind has collapsed because of working too hard.
Well, it seems that all his hard work FINALLY paid off:
Fruits of Kozaky's Studies
Trap Look at the top 3 cards in your deck and return those cards to the top of the deck in any order
Kinda like a Trap version of Big Eye.
Here's one that's VERY nasty:
Mind Haxorz
Trap Pay 500 Life Points. Look at your opponent's hand and all set cards on his/her side of the field.
No more worrying about whether or not to set our Night Assailant's with the fear of a Crossout. Summoning Ha Des and running into Torrential Tribute. This card actually gives you a HUGE advantage. Knowing every card on their hand and side of the field takes away their element of surprise and allows you to plan ahead of time. When you see them play a cards you didn't see in their hand, you know it's a card they just drew.
As discussed earlier in this thread, this card was OWNING the whole tournament:
Back to Square One
Spell Card Discard one card from your hand. Return one monster on the field to the top of the owner's deck.
So now we have 2 choices. One is to discard Night Assailant to DESTROY monsters with Tribute to the Doomed and the other is to discard Night Assailant to return it to the top of their decks with Back to Square One.
Oh and people, get Divine Wrath
Divine Wrath
Counter Trap Discard 1 Card from your hand. Negate the Activation and the effect of an Effect Monster and destroy the monster
Nothing worse than having a field full of fiends that your opponent summons Tribe Infection Virus and with one card from their hand, wipe out your whole field, or they summoni Black Luster Soldier and remove your monsters one by one or attack twice. This card will stops all three of those effects and ANY effect that is activated.
Think about it. Get your Balter and Ryu Shenshi out (either Scientist and IMT them or Metamorphosis them). Summon Ha Des and the Creator and set Divine Wrath.
This card WILL save your lives..RUN IT!!!! In 2s or 3s!!!!
I'm hoping to get a second one today.
Spoeaking of which, I gotta go.
Be back later on tonight.

New York, NY "Maybe I can't ATTACK you with 'The Winged Dragon of Ra', but I CAN send it to the Graveyard to summon something stronger in it's place...meet the Dark Ruler!!!"
Im so very depressed. I wont see that set here till proabably well into December. Curse third world postal systems!!
As for MC and Familiar, I tried both of them in a couple of versions of Archfiends. The only one I felt comfortable with those was a Mazera build. The rest of the time I prefered to use other cards like Cyber to Special Summon.
question, if i use DNA transplant (or whichever one i can change all the monsters to fiends) and then tribute winged minion to boost a monster thats been "made" a fiend will the boost stay even after DNA transplant is gone. If so then maybe Winged Minion and DNA transplant would work well in cinjuction with creator. Basically the card would now read:
Once per turn discard a card from your hand to increase Creators attack and defence permanently.
Also with Heavenly Judgement and some good m/t protection on the field your opponent is, how to put this.... screwed :)
ROLF!!! Not a bad combo at all, Archon. I dont see any reason why the power boost of Winged Minion would go away, even if DNA SURGERY were removed from the field.
If the Creator was a fiend at the time of Winged Minion's activation, then it met all the requirements at the time. So, the 700 boost should remain until the Creator itself is removed from the field.
If I get my hands on a Creator or 2, I am so bringing back the Goblin Kings and Thebans in a renewed effort of evil!
I went to the pre-release yesterday for my area, and I admit I didn't run fiends (I didn't get a chance to even test out my new fiend deck), I did have fun testing out Horus for a 3-2 record and 4 extra packs.
Back to Square One was an awesome card in the sealed draft...I had two, and a serial spell, so I could've had more. Never got to use serial spell though. (you discard your entire hand, and you get to use a normal spell card again, quickplay).
I picked up a Silent Swordsman Level 3, traded it and IFL, Command Knight for Horus Level 8 1/e and Mystic Swordsman Level 4 Ultimate. Needless to say one of my better trades.
I wasn't able to get Monster Reincarnation, though I did pick up a Divine Wrath, and I'll have to try and get the Creater at some point (I SO want to use him in my fiend deck...)
As for fiends, I'll be going back to them next week.
Also, does anyone know when RDS is tournament legal?
Creator + Lunatite + Last Will'd be very fun as well, chuck a winged minion into the mix and BANG 3000 atk, Unaffected by magic cards :) i think so. Shame Ruler cant be reborned or you could have soooo much fun with this card....
If none of you have been over to the General Discussion Forum recently, there is a thread up with the spoiler contents of Flaming Eternity. I know, I know, youre all just getting to test out RDS, but still....
These came from DMComets, and of course the names, wordings, etc may change, but there are a couple of cards that I found interesting there.
FET-JP024
Resident of Darkness-Shadow Killer
Dark/Demon/4/1400/200
When your opponent only has monsters in defense mode, theis card can attack directly.
*hmm, it makes me think of pulling out Labyrinth of Nightmare, the trap, again.
FET-JP035
Brain Jacker
Dark/Demon/2/200/900
Flip: This card would become an Equipment Card, and equip on an opponent's monster. You gain control of that monster and during each opponent's standby phase, he gains 500 lifepoints.
*ok, the wording is a bit choppy. I cant decide if it negates the battle like Kiseitai or if its effect is negated when its flipped due to an attack. Still, ONE MORE NEECROFEAR EFFECT!! It has the Snatch Steal Lp thing, but only 500 which is better than Snatch Steal or Falling Down. And you know it just mean using their big hitter as tribute bait PLUS getting it in the Grave for more NecroFood.
I encourage you all to go read that thread, because there are some nasty enemies out there for us too. Look for Swordmaster-Naked Gearfried. dont giggle at the name, its a nasty effect.
Ooh, how about this:
FET-JP042
Sealing Swords of Darkness
Magic-Continuous
When this card is active, all opponent's monsters turn to face down Defense mode. Also, when this card is face up on the field, opponent's monster cannot change its mode. Destroy this card at the end of the 2nd End Phase.
*reminds me of a inverted Swords of Revealing Light. But still, look back up at Shadow Killer. Ve-ery in-terresting.
FET-JP037
Feathers of the Phoenix God
Normal Magic
Discard one card from your hand, return one card from your Graveyard to the top of your deck.
*Oh, CMON!! Have they seriously forgotten that they made Night Assailant a Fiend??
I mean, lets just re-use Painful Choice and see if we can get 3 Necrofear on the field in 2 turns. if they dont restrict this card to one, Im running 3 of these. going to the top of the deck isnt bad. I mean, it just made Change of Heart Searchable! Along with any other spell card you couldnt get back before. *I think Im hyperventilating*
Then there is
FET-JP040
Lightning Vortex
Discard one card from your hand, destroy all opponent's face up monsters on the field.
While this is at odds with the Sealing Swords of Darkness, it fits pretty well with Light of Intervention.
While I could go on all evening with this (Punishment Game!, Deck Destruction Virus of Magic**, Headquarters Assault, Elemental Burst, etc) I just want to mention 2 more for now.
FET-JP045
Centrifugal Separated Field
Magic-Field
Whenever your Fusion monster is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by the effect of cards, choose one of that Fusion Monster's Fusion material, and special Summon it to your field.
FET-JP047
Re-Fusion
Magic Equipment
Pay 800 LP. Choose a Fusion monster card in your Graveyard and special summon it to the field in attack mode, and equip this card on it. If this card is destroyed, so is the equipped monster.
Ok so we have a new Premature Burial. (Actually we have more, if you look at the list)
then we have a way to summon something like Summoned Skull to the field for nothing. Hmm..how about Summoner of Illusions?
there is major swarm opportunity here. And all of a sudden I agree with running 3 Metamorphasis.
Anyways, my copy has just finished printing, so Im off to review it and see what advantages and threats I can find to my game.
