Hmm. So, while most of the constructs being released don't make a TON of sense, they are arguably not totally incorrect, at least in regards to the BLs, which is the one battery [besides Yellow] I want. So there ya go. Problem solved!

I thought Reds only spewed poison blood. When did they start making stuff? Maybe its just been too long since I read a book with a Lantern. I dropped out in the middle of Blackest Night

My understanding is that most of the red's membership are basically feral, so don't utilize the ability to make constructs. Hence, Battle Fury on the recruits, and Red Hal's late-dial battlefury. Named members who retain more reasoning ability have much more control and can utilize some constructs. Hence Bleez's special damage power is called Self-Control Ritual and Atrocitus's Blood Prophecy top dial while both fall back into Battle Fury end-dial.

I think Guy Gardener as a Red Lantern was unique because he was actually able to retain his Green ring while using the Red and still utilize both, constructs and otherwise? A true fan will probably correct this amateur though.

Most Reds are not able to make constructs. At present the only two that can make constructs are Rankor (the second Red Lantern from Earth) and Dex-Starr who drank some of Rankor's blood.

Also, as of the first issue of the Red Lanterns series Attrocitus began granting self-control to a select few Lanterns (starting with Bleez) by baptizing/drowning them in the blood lake on Ysmalt. Guy Gardner (the current leader of the Reds) also did this for Supergirl after she joined the Corps.

Wait... Guy is leading the Red Lanterns and Supergirl is a member? o_O

Gud Kitteh and Atroc-teeth are one faction currently contested by Zillius, Supergirl, Guy, Bleez and a few others.

Recently they introduced The Judge, an awesome Red lantern character. I'd suggest reading the title, as it is quite the good read. (Unlike most lantern titles now )

Well Red Lantern Razer can do constructs, unfortunely they are not doing a clix of him; nor Aya. Yes, he is from the Animated series, but still.
