I've already cleaned out a lot of the old PMs, so I can't cut and paste them myself, but from memory:

Night 1 - to ChiRocker, he had to say, in bold, CURSE YOU SUPER FRIENDS in his first post.

Night 2 - to get_1, he was told to vote a lot in the next day phase. He never quantified "a lot" but for the sake of the requirement I was counting 3 or more votes from get_1 to be sufficient and he votes 4 times (though one was for a dead player... so 3.5 times? Maybe? )

Wow, I thought that was just a random punishment for not giving my night action! nice =]

Of course, being a newb, I would have probably said anything anyone told me to.

Yeah, for the record, it doesn't hurt to be supremely suspicious of any sort of "note" you receive. I am not saying ignore them (there may be penalties for doing so), but don't automatically believe them, either.

Wanted to respond to this one -

This game had a string of bad timing for me. The week prior to Halloween had the mix of Halloween activities and end-of-the-month assessments for my son's online schooling, and the week after Halloween had a state-mandated essay project (and writing is one of the areas my son has a lot of difficulties), so I literally wasn't online to try to post or claim or such a good portion of the time that the game was open. Days I'd actually have free hours to pop on HCR were days the game was in night phase.

I was keeping up with the game, posting regularly to the pro-board (which wasn't closed when I could get online), even working on the drinking game (once I got Real Player to work for me - not that the don actually sent it in with our night actions ).

Great, now you tell me this.

I think my frustration with that post was more with the Silencings and the belief the entire !afia was faking being silenced.

That is hilarious! In retrospect, Michigan's character was a riot, it just hit us at a really bad time.

I was LOLing in the proboards at your post about only 1 post by Stranger Darq. I can't believe he made it as long as he did with 1 post...

I don't mean this as a slam towards Mich - honest - but I'm surprised folks thought the notes were from you. Your writing styles (spelling, sentence structure, etc.) are entirely different (in fact, it's pretty much trademark Mich writing).

I thought it was a result/bonus from getting the drinking challenge right. You and I both invented reasons in our own minds for receiving those messages.

I can't speak for Chi or Jerry, but the note that was attached at the end of my night's results PM was definitely not "trademark Mich" style.

Unfortunately I deleted it, but the way it was written I would have thought mich may have been one of the last ones to send it. In fact, I genuinely did think it came from normalview.
