This is GREAT! THANKS! The only thing I would've preferred character-wise is Mr. Sinister and The Nasty Boys instead of the Reavers, but they did finally make Angel First Class, C'hod and several other favs like the Upstarts, the rest of the Hellfire Club Inner Circle, Lockheed by himself and whatnot.

not bad but i thought his powers only worked on mutants?? and artie could always use his powers around leach...and when he and artie helped out spiderman, spider man didn't lose his powers nor did any of the avengers while they were in the avengers mansion

I concur as I do not count Jeph Loeb debauchery as true HULKs. To this day I know we've had some solid pieces of Banner in Heroclix past, but to me he's someone that they have not hit an ABSOLUTE home run with. Again, solid & great pieces, but none that hands down that make me say, "now THAT is the freaking' HULK!"

it would be neat if they did this with the next marvel set... be really cool if the next marvel set was fantastic four... just think we could have 4 full fantastic four teams.. and make them the rares.. 616 FF, Ultimates FF, Zombie FF, and New Fantastic Four... super rares could be Franklin richards, the amazing bag man (since they screwed up the name in WoTSM) and Dr. Doom with a few Inhumans tossed in in all the different raritys .... that could end up being a great set

and what also could be cool is that they finish up x-factor in the set...its kinda a tie into FF B^P also give another reason for another madrox B^P

I am hoping for Cable as Stryfe's LE. It would be comic accurate. And any future Cable needs an SP named "Stab his eyes!".

I'll give you Avengers, which you could say was up to 4/5th Avengers and foes, but just over half of HoT (31 of 60) was non-theme.

But you can't talk about balance when an entire set consists of one thing. That's not balance. I hope this is not a trend for the future, and while theme makes up a good chunk (say, around 50-60%) of a set, the rest is filled with figs to round out existing teams. There wouldn't be a need to risk sales with "mutants or bust" if they put 6-8 mutants in every Marvel set...

with the exception of nextwave, this could possibly be my favorite set ever from marvel! I've been playing clix since explosion, was thilled with fantastic forces and MnM. This set destroys HoT or web in my book.....without seing a dial.
I'm just sad that we have 30+ players and can't get everyone a brick, I wanted a case(and I'm getting one at midnight) and a few big boxes for the surprise, I know that alot of the younger clix players might not remeber the reavers but damn how can you hate a set thats 2 months away?

as for duo I called artie n leach....got half... no more powers inside say a 6 range.....love that little green guy....
last I call bring back "new guy night" I have the ability to pull sr's that I didn't want and have to trade for the ones I crave so juggernaut won't be in my case.....

I would love a Fantastic Four set. This year would be perfect because the FF turns 50 this year but Marvel said it doesn't want any more Zombies toys it might have to do with Giant-Man taking a bite out of Black Panther from Mutations & Monsters

So it's okay to do remakes of the characters you want, but not characters you don't want? Makes perfect sense. You can't just be happy to see that half of your beloved original brotherhood are remade? silver lining and all that?

I had a great game with the Secret Avengers vs. the Watchmen. The whole game Beast and Rorschach kept each other tied up in hand-to-hand combat. It was very cinematic

I too find it's hard to believe that if you stuck through Austin's run that ANYTHING could make you drop an X-book. I've collected Captain America for close to twenty years and never missed an issue. When Austin did Cap for that one story arc, I was so close to dropping it. Luckily it was only for one arc.

Other than breaking Gleek off of a SR, have they done any LE figures recently that weren't based solely on the Common level pieces? I would bet on an LE Sentinel, Wolverine, Doug Ramsey, Machine Man and hopefully an Artie to go with Leech. But even that is using an uncommon.

I hope to be wrong, because the LE potential is high in this set, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. It's not as though they would give us an LE Colossal Sentinel now would they?
