You're a generous Mod. MY RNG would almost surely have punished them.
I'm going to have to revise my rules for non submitted actions I think.
It's tough because the mafia has to collectively decide on actions, and so you've got to get consensus among multiple people and nobody wants to be a jerk and just make decisions without consulting teammates. But then that takes a long time and over a weekend night phase you don't get a lot of input and then bam, actions are late.
I gotta say this was a really fun game. Aside from the neat mechanics of the game itself, having a chat room for dead players to speculate was fun. I also thought having set times for phases worked really well. It was nice to have a bit of a routine of getting on check the thread around 1130 for end of phase

The set schedule was an idea I stole from Girathon, he used it in his Clone Wars game.
I really liked it, and I felt like it kept me accountable. I had scheduled the game to open so I couldn't procrastinate, I had to resolve the actions and write it up and post it. I did clearly make the schedule too ambitious, I didn't realize actions would get submitted so close to the deadline but that was naive on my part.
