I once went to a shady venue for the Icons marquee and was the only one to show up. The judge gave me both LEs for buying 2 boosters. It was a good day =]

2) Are they just being sold at Target, or what other stores are they supposedly going to be sold at?

Uh, not sure about any "official" release date. I'd thought May 18, but they're in stores -- that is, some stores -- now.

They are a Target exclusive.

The 15th was the release date for the Toys R Us exclusive colossals. I don't believe it was attached to anything GL related.

I thought the article said the beginning of the week of the 15th, but it didn't necessarily say on the 15th. I love how nobody is totally certain of the release and Wizkids couldn't give us a date or a price.

From what I've seen everyone said it was today. Still no price or anything on them. I'm not sure if I'll try to get any of them or not. I thought about 3 Mark II Sentinels, but after thinking about it some more, I don't think Sentinel Lockdown is going to be that sound of a strategy. Which sucks because it would be very cool to see 3 big Sentinels on the map and doing well.
