I was just confused with the map. I didn't think too hard about it, and I assumed that the first square that I ran across was the start of the stairs.
Bullseye will move to Q-10
Boomerang will move to P-10

Ok Steve, here we go hang on(at least the wind has calm down) said Warbird

Captain America swats down on the ground in a defense position.
Whoa! this is a pefect hiding place(nice view too!)
I heard that! knock it out and get serious! said Captain America

Illegal move report
----------------------
Greenstranger, that move is totally illegal with these rules.
A figure who takes an action may not be Carried or TK'd, neither before or after said action. So if Cap does anything but pass, he can't be carried.
I gotta say Brazil, that rule makes absolutely no sense considering you are trying to bring more movement into the game. Care to explain why you came about that rule?
Life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone.
Sure, I'm not trying to bring MORE movement into the game. What I'm trying to do is allow figures to opporate independently. It is my perspective that each "turn" represents some simulated amount of time....let's just say 6 seconds for this example. Well each figure takes it's action in the game sequentially, however this is supposed to be a simulation of what each figure does during it's 6 seconds. The actions each occur simultaniosly, but are modeled sequentially for ease of play. Well if one figure carries another figure, then the carried figure then takes an action, it is definitely spending 6 second being carried, plus it's 6 second taking it's action for a total of 12 seconds worth of action this figure is involved in. Hence allowing a figure to be TKed or Taxied AND take an action is bad in a simulation sense. Plus if figures could be taxied and/or TK'd and move and attack on their own would just be silly. This game was silly enough in the old days when a figure could get double taxied and attack clean across the board, it's supposed to be a comic simulation, not a boardgame where players scam the rules for maximum benefit. I remember a friend of mine about two years ago designing a team with 3 Wasps and Boomerang, wasps 1&2 would carry Wasp 3 and Boomerang partway across the board as free avengers moves, then wasp 3 would carry boomerang further actoss the board as another free avengers move, then boomerang would do a multi-shot energy explosion on his opponent's figures all on the first turn clear across the board. To me that didn't seem like Comic realism at all. It was just exploiting the easily exploited rules of a board game. Comic realism was totally out the window. This rule system eliminates that obserd aspect of the game. Each figure gets it's 6 seconds worth of action. And they can move themselves into position to attack, they can opporate independantly, without relying on teammates for their mobility. And movement superpowers like Leap/Climb and Phasing are actually valuable and useful.
I don't want "More Movement" I want "More realistic movement". In the comics I used to read the superheros had legs. They didn't have to be TK'd in order to move and attack.
question for you brasil...can a figure take an action after hes TK'd.....
I hadnt seen anything contradicting this...but your above comments made me look again...and i still see no place that says no....let me know before i move again ok...it might change what i was going to do next...

Wow, that's pretty harsh. Is that your way of quitting that game?
I may be finding it hard to know all the changes and not understand some of them, but I'm more than willing to give them a fair go. Maybe that's very australian of me, but I do also believe in finishing what I started.
Christ did not come to condemn the world, but to save it.
Sorry that you want to quit, but you did know the rules upfront. By quitting, you are putting everyone in tight bind.

Yeah, Clixhunter, you may not move and be carried or TK'd.
I was certain that was in the rules, but I just looked them over and I can't find it either. We did a gramatical rewrite of the rules for this version, taking out many of my spelling attrocities. We must have inadvertanatly erased that as I'm pretty sure it was in previous versions. Anyway, that particular rule is pretty critical to these rules. So no, you may not carry or TK a figure who takes an action or visa versa.
no problemo...its good to know...and hey...its hard to make sure everything is perfect... i think as far as the clarity goes youve done a pretty good job....
greenstanger- sorry you feel that way, buts probably better that you go now, if thats the case, than wait until its critical that you move. im sure we can find someone to replace you at this juncture.

I'm pretty sure Green Stranger didn't read much. He obviously didn't read the rules when he asked to play. He also didn't even read the opening discription as about 3 turns in he asked if we were playing teams. So....what do you guys think we should do? I could move his figs for him until we can come up with a replacement? Or Wakandaman and I could take over his figures...or Wakandaman and I could each just bring another 150 points worth of people in and we could get rid of Greenstranger's team. (This would allow Wankandaman to bring in Mr. Fantastic and/or Medusa.) And I could come up with another "Spiderfriend".
What do you guys think?
Also if anyone else is reading along here and wants to volunteer to take over Green Stranger's team....chime in.
it would be best if we find a replacement...because 3 individuals vs 2 individuals can skew things because of the "teamwork" issue.....however...because of the flow of the game...why dont we do something along the lines of
A) you take Punisher and Wakanda takes Cap and Warbird
B) wait for 1 day for someone to chime in and take the new team...if not then bring in another 150 from the starting edge
