And as far as Dawn goes, the preview for EuroTrip was enough to make me want to wash my eyes out with fire. Harriet the Spy should not be flashing her rack in a low-budget Porky's ripoff...
I was alright with EuroTrip. Because, at some point, I'd also seen photos of one of her birthday parties where one of her friends had, apparently, given her a stripper pole.
Once the shock of that mental image wore off, I was fine with EuroTrip.

Plus - unless it was on one of the many multiple DVD releases on which I don't keep up - it's not like she actually shows anything in EuroTrip. Cringe-worthy but not full-out "Argh! Cover yourself!".

Yes. Yes, you are. Because I spent almost the entirety of the final episode of the show asking my myself, "The hell? Where is the rocket launcher? Buffy was carrying it around earlier this season. Biggest fight of their lives and they show up looking like they raided the prop trailer from Krull." I guess part of Joss's idea of "girl power" means keeping it real, 14th century style.

Ye aI didn't like his reasoning of "Style".
And Eurotrip was SO FRICKIN AWESOME. Seriously one of the best comedys i've ever seen. Plus Michelle was smokin' hot. Mmmmmm topless beach.
The uncensored version just has more bewbs. Not hers though.
Then what's the point ... ?!
Er, uh, I mean that's good to hear.

Giles! It's funny how just the mention of his name in issue #1 was enough to be exciting so having him in this issue is even nicer. Like I've said, it's almost as if you're reuniting with old friends (I know, pathetic of me).
I completely understand where you are coming from and its not pathetic.
Yes, its only a TV show or whatever, but most of us have watched Buffy/Angel for like 9 years or so? That's nearly a third of my life these guys have been around!
They've made us laugh and made us cry (in my defense, I was watching "The Body" at 4am in the morning, so not my best moment ) and that's an emotional investment right there.
The praise you guys have heaped on this 'book has my interest piqued. I was completely underwhelmed by Astonishing X-Men but I'll check it out when it goes trade.
Cool beanz

And I definitely did not see that ending coming. Though I do kinda hope that we're done with the last page character appearances for a little while. Three in a row seems a bit much.

Well, next issue wraps up this arc before going into a two-issue Faith arc so either there'll be no "surprise guest" at the end of next issue or it'll be Faith as they set up her arc.

It's only 2 issues? That seems rather short.
I liked seeing one of the slayers reading Fray, that was a nice touch. And Joss appearing in Buffy's dreamscape thingy.

I believe it's a "bridging arc" so expect to see a lot more Faith in upcoming issues (and according to the latest letter column hopefully there'll be many more issues to come...hey, maybe even more "seasons" ).
An absolutely great issue and the characters seemed right on the nose. Okay, Willow's a trifle too powerful for my tastes - what can I say, I still miss computer-nerd Willow or "rare ritual Willow" as opposed to combat-casting Willow - but it still made for a fun battle (though it's interesting how casual everyone is when Willow's dark side comes to the front). Still, her personality shone through ("Language, sweetie.")
So what type of demon do you think the ops-gal is for Xander to be verging on hooking up with her? C'mon, you know he can't find a normal woman. I'm really enjoying him as a kind-of HQ Watcher - it's a great and appropriate evolution of the character, showcasing how he really is a "battle-seasoned soldier" even if his strength isn't always the front line. Oh, and the whole "Say it with me: Fe Fi Fo..." bit was classic Xander-talk.
Any thoughts on who kissed Buffy?
Oh, and the bit that kind-of surprises me - mainly because the body got torched after flaying - is the possible return of Warren. Trying to think of whom else it might be though the letter column almost confirms that it is Warren with the whole bit about how long-time fans should immediately know the guy.
Come on, surely there's more for folks to discuss about in the issue than just one panel of Buffy's threesome dream? Make with the Scooby-speak!
