I'm also one of the Star City boys. My name is Joel Humphreys and I live in Roanoke VA. I have played most everyone on either in person or in the On-line league. I must say a great bunch of guys and great players. I haven't been able to play much clix besides on-line since I got married. I have a 4 month old son name Josiah. Hopefully he'll be a clix player one day! I've been playing since the start with IC.

It will be one less House Rule as we have always played no Ranged Attacks when Based.

Only problem with using the FF rules is that we don't have the FF PAC yet, do we?
This is true....
Ill leave it up to the players to decide....you can go with the new rules and LOSH PAC and what we belive we know about TK and Outwit, the old rules, or just wait until the FF PAC comes out (my guess next Wednesday).

Make sure you exchange emails for Dice Rolls and PM each other to settle up on wether you will be using the new FF rules. Either way make sure you familiarize yourslef with the House Rules (there arent that many and the no range attack when based rule should be easy enough).

OK, so I read the Cliff's Notes for the new FF rules and I'm very pleased with what I've read. Among other things, they've made it so that there is no ranged combat when you are based (with the exception of the Sharpshooter ability). Does this still apply with Giant and Colossal characters? Can a regular figure still use ranged combat when based by a Sentinel or Galactus?

It does with the exception that most Colossals have a specific rule on their rule sheet to allow them to make a ranged attack even when based. Some of them can even shot out of adjacency.
