This's a little bit off topic so feel free to shout me down.
I've been using Palm since before Clix started. I've always downloaded the rules, list, etc. When spreadsheet capability came to the Palm I designed one to calculate the points for the tourneys that I judged.
It kinda fries me that Palm basically came up with this whole darn idea and now there are way more apps for i-stuff than there ever were for Palm, but I owned an Intellivision way back when, and life's kinda panned out that way ever since.
Anyway, does anyone know if there are any Heroclix related downloads for the Palm out there?
The problem with getting HeroClix apps for the iPhone is the setup cost. I can't remember exactly what it is, but it's ridiculously high for an independent developer who wants to produce apps for free and the simplicity of the apps people are looking for on their iPhones isn't really worth paying for.
I had to foot a $25 setup fee with Google Checkout to be able to put apps on the Android Market. That wasn't too bad. I think I have three apps there now, all for free.
I downloaded the development kit for the Palm OS, but I haven't had time to get into it and I have no way of testing apps before putting them on the market. It's likely that each app would have a lot of little updates over a short period of time (which can get annoying for the users) in order to get the apps fully functional.
well, the title of this thread can be a bit of a disappointing bait and switch for iPhones users.
I know that what you say is 100% true; but you got my hopes up.
I certainly wasn't trying for bait-and-switch when I revived the thread; I just don't like starting duplicate threads, and I had this one in my subscribed threads folder, so...
Justin Ziran contacted me about a possible iPhone HeroClix app a few months back, but after responding (several time) I have hear nothing back from him.

Did the same for me about an Android app. Never got anything else from him, though.
