Well yeah, lately they've been adding stuff, but they have streamlined some stuff. Like removed soaring, and don't get me started on the grounded vs flying when adjacent thing, that was a nightmare.

It's actually not that hard to keep up with rule changes. Most tweaks are pretty minor things nowadays.

And rules tweaks have been heading towards making the game align more with common sense, rather than the old way (which was towards making it make less sense).

Giant rules are a great example of that. Under the new rules, Devil Dinosaur doesn't have to stop in his tracks when he walks next to a Lian Harper. You still have to sort out the whole "two squares away for attack purposes doesn't mean that you can poison two squares away" thing, but they're way more straightforward now.
