Hellboy and I are about to try an experiment to see if via production alone we can get 3 tones dice (part etch/paint, part screen print). Will post pics if they work =]
Definately interested in getting some of them if it works and you guys are able to get that venture going.
It's like Michael Jordan going to the YMCA to play basketball.

It will be a simple step 1 in figuring out if it is possible to do. Then comes the hard part of finding a company who can do it in bulk, and then the even harder part of getting permission...

Last winter I tried to set up a dice run of my own and contacted about 15 different companies to see if they would make them. I found 2 or 3 (all overseas) that would do it. One that I remember was in China and the other was in the UK but required a designing fee, which was about 50.00 per design. I decided to scrap it rather than pursue it any further. So there are companies that will do it without consent, but it's playing with fire at that point. As for getting permission, I think that'll be the biggest hurdle but hopefully they give the ok or at least will consider it since there's no one to market super-hero dice.

Yeah, but we want to sell to Comic Book Stores on a rather large scale...

Yeah, you're gonna need permission then. Hopefully it all works out and you guys can get this up and running, as super-hero dice are something that I think would sell well in hobby shops and comic book stores.

But my favorite thing in the players guide is the change to the SHIELD TA. When I read the HALO equivalent I thought, "Aww, man. SHIELD would be so much better like that." And low and behold they made the change. I'll have to attempt a new SHIELD swarm in the near future because of this change.
Agreed. I ran a SHIELD team a couple of weeks back, but I can easily put another one together with the new UNSC SHIELD version.

I know about all the sets, I just was concerned about the order. If we get a JL set first, I can handle the Gotham crowd with a bit more grace.
Finding myself seriously out of whack by late yesterday afternoon, when I finally reached home I kept away from online, so I'm just catching up now.
A new thread, some new ATAs I'll need to mull over, and a SHIELD TA update that's fantastic. Taking a second look at Matt Murdock and the two Daredevils they decided to show us will be in the mix somewhere, too.
Today's back to housework (kitchen's the target today) and writing. My writing project is holding hostage the reading of any new comics, because I need to employ such tactics to push myself along. Of course, if I were serious I'd also tell myself no tv, too. I have chicken to season and put on the rotisserie within the next couple hours, too.
