"Magneto is the other side's leader, and their most powerful. You may be our secret weapon. Someone finally able to get to him to bring him down. If you think you're up to it," Salaak explained to the Composite Superman, playing off his pride.

"Of course I can bring him down! I'll show you!" Salaak slingshotted the Composite being towards Magneto.

"What sort of misbegotten creature are you?" Magneto asked with contempt.

"The sort that can destroy you!" To Magneto's surprise, the Composite Superman was able to break through his force field and landed a Kryptonian strong punch.

"Incredible," Magneto said. "You may just be as powerful as you say. But I am not without power of my own!"

"You call yourself an assassin," Ra's al-Ghul told Elektra. "I call you an amateur."

"And I call you a pompous jerk," Elektra said, parrying al-Ghul's sword with her sai.

"You've been well trained," Ra's conceded. "You would be a compliment to my League. If I could allow you to live. Alas, I cannot."
