Secondarily. The USS ENTERPRISE NCC-1701-A is NOT a Constitution class Enterprise. It is an ENTERPRISE CLASS because it was built to be the Enterprise and is the only ship of its class in the WHOLE of Star Fleet.
You might be right, but FWIW Memory Alpha (STU Wiki) disagrees with you:
So if WK is incorrect, at least there's reason to understand the confusion. Even the Trekkies are confused!

What I don't get is why the people who complained that the Hulk set Wolverine has only 6 clicks aren't complaining that the Enterprise only has 6 clicks while being 5 points more expensive. Trek fans should be pissed that the replication of that most famous Star Trek ship is only as durable as the most recent Wolverines.

Reason: Oh right, the GSX and WoS Wolverine have 6 clicks, too.
This is a literal Kobayashi Maru for Wizkids - a no-win scenario:
1.) Make a new system with new mechanics and every one will ##### that, because its not compatible, it will fail and we can't afford a whole new game and why not just make it compatible with clix.
2.) Make it compatible with clix and you get the b****-moaning found herein.
I am like Kirk - I don't believe in the no-win scenario.
I will play these and enjoy them and laugh at the "superior" intellects who frown upon it.
The word is given. Warpspeed!
I am suddenly reminded of when we announced Expeditions and Fleet Captains, and everyone said that WK should make the game compatible. LOL
Regardless, there are now three very different flavors of Star Trek available for all manner of Trek and games fans to enjoy. I'm not certain why this particular offering is so divisive or controversial?
I for one am excited for this, and look forward to having another enjoyable Trek game available. (I'm a big Trek nerd )

Muncho - its like I always say, "You can please some of the people some of the time, but none of those people hang out on these forums."
May all your hits be crits!

The Enterprise A is a refit of the Constitution Class. It is one of the few refits, but it is still considred Constitution class. It even says that in the Encyclopedia, but I'll give you the Memory Alpha entry.
I'll probably still get some of them anyway, but I really wish they had been to scale with each other with most ships on a 2x2 base (like GSX Colossals) and smaller ones (Bird of Prey, Defiant) on single bases. Or even make the sculpt sizes somewhat to scale (hobbit sized bird of prey, etc).
They could have done Shuttles/Runabouts on pogs and had little compartments on the colossal ships for them to sit in (or be detachable like Cap objects). Special Objects could be like Gravitic Mines (take damage if you pass within X squares of them) or probes (add to attack roll vs ships in X squares) instead of adding to "melee" attack damage.
Also how is Tractor Beam super strength and not telekinesis?
Kirk visited the USS Constellation in The Doomsday Machine and the USS Defiant in the The Tholian Web both of which were Constitution class starships just like the Enterprise.
And beware The Wiki for it is powerful
The Constitution-class starship Enterprise-A was commissioned in 2286, at the end of the events depicted in Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. It is the second Federation starship to carry the name Enterprise. While the ship's history prior to its recommissioning as Enterprise has never been officially stated, several non-canon sources (Such as the AMT/Ertl Model kit documentation) have claimed it to formerly be the USS Yorktown (NCC-1717); others cite it as the former USS Ti-Ho (NCC-1798)
For one, I don't think that Star Trek spaceship battles are all that interesting. (Not in and of themselves.) They don't tend to be full of action-packed dynamic shoot-outs. MOSTLY what causes the tension and excitement in Star Trek battle scenes is from the characters and how they manage to cope with the scenarios that they've been thrust into.
Between that and there being no apparent effort to differentiate how space ships shoot at each other and how two guys would slug each other, I'm just not being tempted by this.
I do like the idea of running a team with Toyman or Arcade and a few of these, but that's a novelty that would wear out quickly.

I think we'd have figured that out from the rest of your post.

Well, I think we need to make some adjustments to our expectation here. We wanted;
*Spaceship battles without paying $130 a booster for spaceship sized colossals.
*Heroclix dial compatibility
Yeah, Hal Jordan punching out a spaceship that's should be 1,000 times his size but is actually smaller than him is dumb; but the pieces make sense in context in their own set, and could still be played in a regular game if you are so inclined. They really couldn't do this any other way.

Hey, some of us are pleased! Very pleased!
